Punishing Gray Raven (PC Client)

I swore there used to be a topic about this game but I cant find it using lover's lab's search function so, here we go.

Punishing Gray Raven just released on PC. It used to have APK mods on android but they were only for specific updates and weren't upkept well. Now that the game has a PC Client I wonder if something like 3DMigoto can be used the way it can be in Honkai Star Rail or Genshin Impact for more permanent mods.

As for the subjects, the game is full of sexy robot ladies and robot fellas with amounts of exposed machinery ranging from "very robot" to "basically just human"

i tried special k on a throwaway account and yeah that one does also work. not sure about bepinex though.

this person is using special k injection to get textures into the game (genshin impact players used the same thing before they all switched to 3dmigoto)

special k is definitely easier to use but unlike 3dmigoto it cant change 3d models, only textures

Surprised not many mods came out yet especially since you found it works very early on!

Well to be fair, there isn't really much to do with Special K that that Youtube account hasn't already done. None of the characters have bodies under their clothing or anything so there isn't much to mod unless someone starts working with 3dmigoto (or starts replacing the files directly. Some people in China did this before the pc client was released, but the mobile version didn't have encrypted files like this one does.) Maybe you could make some underwear/pantyless mods using Special K if you're good at working with normal maps.

 

It does seem like you won't get banned for doing this at least.

An interesting thing you said is the potential of banning,

why do you think special k isnt likely to be ban worthy?

(most online game are very sensitive to 3rd party program access, and them taking offense to that is generally bannable)

I'm not going on much to be honest. Mostly just because, when I made this thread I had already tried Special K on another account, and that account hasn't been banned yet and its been over a month. 

Better safe than sorry though obviously.

Noted. there are games that this doesnt seem to be an issue with and others that ban you for breathing wrong apparently.

 

Still a PGR mod even if Special K based can be very interesting.

have you tried using 3dmigoto? thats what everyone uses for model changes in genshin impact and star rail

I gotta say there are some tight fitting outfits for some char models which lend themselves to very "spicy" potential edits (Luna for example).

 

I did attempt some edits but my texturing skills are shoddy at best so I canned it.

 

Feel free to share your edits if any of you guys do make some,

 

Ultimately 3dmigoto would do wonders for the game but it is way above what I can deal with on my own!

A word to the wise,

Dont try 3dmigoto with your main account just in case,

while both I and hilbo75 tried special-K and verified it works without issue in terms of account bans "knocks on wood",

3dmigoto is a new unexplored territory of mudding,

Also the new patch starts tomorrow so I suggest you wait till after it comes out.
