You have to be lucky enough to be invited to the beta.  But, I highly suggest if you do ask to be invited to the beta, you have a skill you can offer. Not just beta testing. A way to contribute. Such as animation, or even texture work. As Mina said, 3D animator and/or traditional animator is the skill they need atm. So if you can do that, then ask for the beta. Of course be willing to provide proof of your work.

 

BTW, I know as a matter of fact it will not be released in a month. "Deadline" is a good 3-6 months out IIRC. And it is not a concrete deadline but an estimate. As in no official date has even been released, nor an internal "hey guys, let's get this done by X if we can." They are literally doing a total conversion mod. Brand new outfits, Zelda is the lead character. Not Link. They are doing an amazing job.

 

But trust me, when the project is done, and officially released, EVERYONE will love it. From what little I've played of it, as I said they are doing an absolutely amazing job. This mod honestly should be pay walled and I absolutely do not say that lightly as I hate paid mods. It is that high quality.

 

PS: Do not ask me, and do not DM me about sharing the mod. I will not share it. And no I'm not saying the above to brag. I'm just letting everyone know. Do not expect this mod to magically drop in a month or even two.

Yo guys, Rico doesn't want to have lewd mods made of his models. I'm not here to tell you what to do, but as a friend of the creator and a dev for it too, I can only tell you that he doesn't want it. He's working so hard on this and the mod's come a long from what it was months ago. But if you really want to do lewd mods with it, at least try to contact him on discord and talk with him first.

After the Zelda mod is done. That mod is the current priority and it's a massive undertaking. Plus I think Sockpuppet is actually going to create a standalone armor mod for Zelda to become Purah. At least judging by what he's shared recently. He's dropped Purah in Lingerie. But it wasn't the NPC. It was the player character. Only reason he'd do that is an armor for the mod. But this is all speculation considering he hasn't outright said anything.

I think it's because they don't want people harassing them. Plus because it's Nintendo, trying to keep it on the down low. That way they can get it into everyone's hands before it blows up. As trust me, it's gonna blow up.

 

But last update they added several standalone outfits. Pyra's outfit, that cat cleavage cut-out shirt (from that trend awhile back), and this character.  Plus a few others.

 

Now they are doing preliminary testing for an EXEFS mod. So whatever they are doing, is actually gonna change game code in some way.  I know basically nothing about this as I just woke up to it and waiting for further information to help. As MIB said that it's supposedly crashing DynamicFPS. So trying to figure out why, so that way he can get the ground work laid for whatever he has planned.  But as I said, this is like info from the last 2 hrs so it probably makes absolutely no sense to anyone, because quite frankly I know almost nothing about what is going on in this regard. I'll clarify once I do know some info.

 

This mod is gonna be absolutely fucking epic though if we now need game code editing mods for features. As this stuff is typically reserved for graphics mods. Like DynamicFPS, Anistropic filtering fix, Shadows, Disable FSR, etc.

Hey thanks for an update and the run down of what's up. I get that they can be harassed. There are some impatient people ruining things out there. I'm just one of the ones filled with hype and these updates like this got me even more hype that's why I love them.

She is my waifu of this game so I would loooooove to see nude mineru someday come down the pipeline. I hope that does happen. NP, an update on what I was testing - a masturbation mod. MIB was having me test custom sound, dialog, and animations. Basically you'll have an option at Zelda's house, where you'll be able to Sleep, or masturbate. When you masturbate you get dialog prompts (go faster, keep going, climax), animations for it, and sounds. Plus you get a health boost out of it.  That is what has been tested so far. I'm sure with a system like this being implemented, there is a chance for more. (maybe sex animations? who knows...) As he was literally just testing the foundation. How much further he is gonna take the system? Who knows...

 

But ya, that's what I was testing. 

 

Sorry I can't share screenshots. As I said, it was just testing the foundation to make sure it was working. As now this mod will include a plugin ala DynamicFPS, DisableFSR, etc. On top of the usual mod files that most mods come with.

 

Now you see why this project is taking so long? Everyday they are adding insane new features. Features that no one else is currently doing in the modding community. So sometimes, they are having to write tools in order to accomplish these tasks.

 

Trust me, as I keep saying, this mod is gonna be worth the wait!!!

They should be ashamed of themselves. Instead they should support mods officially on their plattform and even reward creators like Microsoft does with Skyrim for example. It also prolongs the lifetime and sales of a game.

No idea where you heard that from, but there is absolutely no indication anyone prominent in the TOTK modding community has received anything of the sort. This mod is still in full production, I can assure you of that. Also, there's still considerable updates for mods near enough every single day on gamebanana for TOTK. So, again, no idea where you heard that, but the proof is in the pudding bud. At least for TOTK. The community is alive, well, and flourishing. Nintendo isn't stopping anything.

 

So, unless you can provide proof, please, do not post stuff like that. It's unnecessary doom and gloom. Modding is alive and well both SFW and NSFW for Tears of the Kingdom and ALOT of nintendo titles. Alot of it is just going on behind the scenes. Especially for this mod. (Zelda Gone Wild)  I mean hell just recently MaxLastBreath released an Ultra Cam mod and continued Chuck's work on DynamicFPS. These are mods that alter the game code. Or add on top of the game code.
