[portrait mod]Seductive Dragon Females!!

Hi! new one here,

Today i introduce the first portrait mod i made, inspired by "stable Elves" mod, i used duffusion system and created hundreds of portraits (Using at least 5 loras, so basically irreproducible). using PS to remove all backgrounds cost me more effort than i had expected, but it turned out fine.

if some one can tell me how to turn backgrounds to transparent in an convenient way, maby i will update more portrait mods! (Furry antho maybe?)

Any way, thanks for using and feel free to chat!

Oooh looks nice. I have no idea about the background thing, but maybe you can use a "no background" or "white background" prompt?

yeah, but still need to turn them to transparent background manually, other wise you will see a white block behind every portrait right?

I don't know if it's only me but the mod manager says that there is a problem with the descriptor.mod and doesn't load. Thanks in advance

Same bullshit

From what I've seen, some manual work will still be needed to cut the characters out from the backgrounds.  You can include the phrase "simple background" in the prompt and it will usually give you a background that is a solid color or simple gradient that makes manually cutting the character out of the background easier.   There's also a plugin for gimp that is pretty decent at removing the subject from the background, but in my experience it only works "perfectly" ~20% of the time or so.

Also, once you've cut the subject out of the background, you might consider selecting the subject and then feather the edges.  Hard edges can stick out like a sore thumb sometimes when the portraits are added to the game, and feathering will soften the edges.

I haven't tried running both mods simultaneously, but anyone trying to fix it might be able to make a quick and dirty fix by using a program like notepad++ to search all of the files in the folder and replace references to "elf" or "elves" with "dragon" or "dragons" respectively.   Might need to alter filenames that reference elves to reference dragons too.  That might let you get things running until the author can update their files with an official update.

@laoxiusheng you left your mod path in the descriptor and and .mod file, you left C:/Users/laoxi/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/Dragon females so it doesn't work.

For everyone else just change "laoxi" with your user (use notepad++)

This art is really cool. Just wondering who the artist is and if there’s any way I could find the uncompressed images

Womp womp. XD

Look up stable diffusion on rule 34. Youll find tons if their other work, but the uncomoressed might be locked behind their patreon.

Mod is showing up as missing a descriptor file, and when I change the .mod file's path to find the descriptor file, it shows up as not present on disk...?

Edit: Mod needs an update to address this I think. Descriptor is looking for the mod author's directory rather than my own when I install it - If Paradox Launcher is supposed to change this, it isn't. No clue how this works. I changed the path again and renamed the mod file/path to "Dragon_Females" from "Dragon females" and it magically started working.

For transparent backgrounds? I've found using "monotone background" works, and then you grab a program like firealpaca or Kirita and use the paint bucket to "paint" a transparent background. Use the "tolerance" to determine how much difference in color code the paint bucket would paint over and then smooth the details out manually.

Also, if you could, could you teach me the process you used to actually make the mod? I'm completely and utterly illiterate when it comes to editing text files and the like to make mods like this, and I would very much like to. It's at your leisure thoug
