Lovers RaperS Problem - cant start Sex

Hello everyone,

 

for a whole day now i tried getting Lovers RaperS to work, without success.

 

First, this is what i did so far:

1. Installed: Lovers Resources v3 - for LPK base rev96

2. Installed: Revised BBB 11-200 Animations Pack 12-12-12

3. Installed: Lovers with PK 14 Rev 96

4. Installed: LoversRaperS (latest version from this Site)

The behavier iam getting:

 

I created a character with level 100, high stats and so on and tried a sneak attack on the NPC "Nardhil" sleeping near Chrorroll. I repetly casted the rape spell but nothing works. Of course, i set the rape settings for the NPC to rapeable and the needed min health to 100%. Well, she just started attacking me while i attack back and cast rape spell that isnt working, she's only staggering.

Now the strange thing, when i kill her i can finally use the rape spell. Then a message appers saying something like: "Nardhil" was beaten up heavily and is now being violated. Then i see something that look like an animation is starting but nothing really is happening only that the NPC loses her clothes and then picks up the weapon again and starts attacking me.

 

When i kill her again i cant rape her anymore (message isnt appearing anymore), i have to reload the save for it to work again.

 

Any ideas anyone? Do i have to take a look at the scripts?

If it helps you i can add sceenshots or make a video.

Could be a mod conflict or load order. Have you tried running boss to see if you have any load order errors and wrye bash to see if you are missing anything that a mod needs to run correctly? Maybe even turning mods off except for the ones needed to see if that fixes it. Not sure on unofficial patches as I have never ever used any of there patches for their games.

What in the wild world of sports is:  Lovers with PK 14 Rev 96.esp 

 

That version is not on this site anywhere!  Did you rename or otherwise mess with the esp?

 

You need to use the plugins from this site to be assured things are compatible:    http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/3-lovers-with-pk/

Use LPK base rev96v2.7z

 

Other things to check or do:

1.  Make sure you disabled all LPK esm and esp files when you built your bashed patch.  If you are not sure then redo your bashed patch.  Having the esm and esp files enabled while building a bashed patch pulls in some of the scripts and breaks them.

2.  Try attacking whomever you are fighting from the side or back.  Attacking directly from the front only works if the opponents health is very low or if they are a VERY low level enemy.  Since many of the NPC's in the game scale with your PC, your being 100 in stats doesn't make any difference.  

3.  You can install Joburg as that plugin comes with a spell that allows you to rape sleeping NPC's with a 100% success rate.  Joburg works great with RaperS.  If you do not like the stalking that Joburg comes with, you can dial down all the settings so stalking is turned off.

@ gregathit: you are right, for some reason i renamed the esp-file, maybe while i was renameming folders or stuff. But it's the esp from the link you presented and just to make sure i redownloaded the plugin from the link.

 

Now iam disabling the plugins in Wrye Bash before creating bashed patch by disabling the Lovers with PK.esm which i didn't really do before. And that fixed something for me: before when i activated the LoverIdleAnimPriority.esp i couldn't change the eyecolor anymore when creating a new char, that doesn't happen anymore. Unfortunally it didn't fix my main problem that raperS isn't really working. THe behavior i descriped in the OP is still the same. I also checked the against the inconcompatible mod list but there wasn't any mod listed iam using.

 

For Joburg's plugin, i tried it out but i only have two setting spells. no new rape spell or something, is that normal?

Is there any way to fix this? Or is a reinstall unavoidable?

 

btw: why is there no option in Wrye Bash to mark mods as dont include in bashed patch? Seems basic to me.

After rebuilding your bashed patch with all lovers esm and esp files disabled, did you start a new game?  If you loaded an existing saved game then the broken scripts were still in it and that won't work.  Try starting a new game to see if that gets you working.

 

Joburg adds the sleeper sex spell - make sure you are in the spell tab that is farthest to the left (which shows all spells).

 

 

And no, there is no option to "not" include things in your bashed patch.  Just disable the esm\esp file prior to rebuilding it.

Hahah now thats nice. Today i tried everything again without success. And iam pretty sure i did everything right, since iam not stupid and technically expirenced. So what i just did was downloading Lovers RaperS - WappyOne's Edition and guess what? It WORKED!!! Should have tried that earlier. Well at least i got it working now. But saw no way to control the sex, position wise or the time he cums. I guess there are mods for this? With a menu for this stuff?

 

But thanks gregathit for the help, now i perfected the right handling for the lovers plugin after doing it 1234643234 times.

 

Another question, is it possible to debug the scripts? Iam a programmer myself and i have no problems reading/understanding source and scriptcode but iam new to oblivion modding.

And i would like to start developing some scripts/mods myself.

You debug the scripts by setting debug variables and printc's that output to the console or a text file - ConScribe is a must. There's no proper debugger.

 

Be aware that you can't use the original CS to edit scripts which use OBSE commands; i.e. nearly all of them now - that requires the extended version of the CS, available on the Nexus.

 

The flow of control in Oblivion scripts will be a little different to what you're used to; took me a while to get my head around it.

During rape there is no plugin that "controls" sex.  All you can do is change animations via the grab key (z by default).  The grab key will allow you to shuffle animations inside that particular group.  You can toggle the settings via the lovers settings spell (sexual exploits) to set how long the stages last.  There are four stages to sex.  By default sex is on automatic progression.  You can change this to manual via the jump key if you wish.  

 

 

During normal sex there is a plugin called PK Extender which offers a bit of a mini-game to sex by having to satisfy your partner (as well as yourself).  It has several requirements and also several settings that must be tweaked so be sure to read the entire OP to understand what you need to do as well as what the control keys are.  

 

I myself am fairly ignorant when it comes to scripting.  JSmith20142 and WappyOne are our resident experts at that.  If you run into trouble, they are the ones most likely to help you out.  Both are fairly active in the forum, so post your question\issue and they will try to help you get things sorted out.
