Which CBBE texture should I use?

Hello everyone,

I have been switching around with textures in concern to CBBE for awhile now, and I have just gotten sick of the neck seams and other issues that mismatching textures and such can cause.

I have decided that I am going to create a whole new character and start from scratch.

 

I am in love with the Realistic Girls texture by Zonzai which has been blowing up the nexus, but unfortunately that is not available for CBBE yet, so I have to settle for something else. Basically I am looking for anything that looks realistic. I am not too picky but I am aiming for a teenager looking female that looks like she has been through a few battles, pubic hair is ideal, but not necessary.

Anyways, I am really excited to see what you guys suggest, like I said before, any suggestion would be great!

I just figured some sort of criteria that is ideal may point you in the right direction..

if you really want it,  swich to unpb /bbp (all the unp stuff works fine on it )

mature skin has a cbbe version, for my unpb i use this with the _1_s from the sg textures OO dunno why, but it look's better

I would switch to UNPB but I just feel comfortable with CBBE since it has the slider and all of that.

Also, what is BBP? Is it better then both in your opinion? Should I look into it?

 

I almost forgot about Mature skin, I might actually use that, thanks for the suggestion!

it makes bewbs move when you walk for exemple, or with the sexlab things , you can have unp bbp, unpb bbp and i guess cbbe bbp, myself i have (erf one more thing) unpb tbbp

i don't know anything about the sliders, but there is some  in the racemenu mod

I'm a sort of well what's the word? fake old modder (not making mods just use them since 2005/6? i think) so, i started my moding experience with fallout 3 and dimon99 did a great work on womens body in this game(see the others nexus sites fallout 3/nv), since i stay with that, yes unpb isn't his mod but for me he's the best (hey don't watch the endorsments, it just means (for me) that newbies goes here )

Mature skin yes and i tryed with the _1_s from sg textures renewal, because i was lazy and i'm surprised of the good result.

Ahh. Now I am using vanilla texture for now with TBBP!

Hopefully I can find some more textures so I am not using vanilla CBBE textures.

SG Female Textures Renewal (<----CBBE Support) is a damn good alternative to the Mature skin texture (<----CBBE Support) & the Real Girls textures (<----NO CBBE Support)

& combine that with Enhanced Character Edit, & Race Menu. Don't forget the ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer

to adjust the face & body to look more younger.  & once you've added those add this too (Optional) to get  facial expressions if ya like.

 

But I too would highly recommend using UNP BLESSED BODY- UNPB  Also don't forget to add the awesome XP32 Maximum skeleton -XPMS & UNP also has a Body Slider----> Bodyslide - bodysize sliders for UNP

Oo does the body slider works with most of the armors? (just seen this:  "Last updated at 19:54, 29 Mar 2012") but  but i don't really  like the sg textures, it makes my char looks like a porcelain puppet (maybe good for a teenage char like imperious wants i think, or a manga like char)

Right now I am using the SG Female texture renewal on my Ningheim character, I think it looks really good, but if you want that more dirtier appearance go with the Mature skin texture, the Real Girls is more in between the two, but also the real girls is alot more taxing on your games resources because it has a high polygon count, I would suggest trying all these textures to get a better Idea how you want your character to look, I was using the real girls textures but I didn't quite like how it changed the look of my characters face, & the genitalia is not really defined like the SG Female Texture renewal is.

 

as for the Slider I am yet to use it, but it is installed in my game.

oh i don't really ask, me and my computer (really shitty...) we know that mature skin is the best for us, i'm near 35 years old now, and if i want to use sexlab sometimes, i don't want to see teenagers here (it's a game but...i'm not a p...) 

i had the same issue with real girl, i had a good looking char, with mature skin, with real text she looked like a zombie (i'm not in necro too ^^), i think we have to make a new char with this

Thanks so much for the links Zsquad, I have been playing around with the SG texture and I have honestly got to say that I love it, still not as good as the Realistic Girls, but you know what I mean.

 

I felt the utter need to share my character and what my skin looked like in the end, so here it is, this way other users who are using this thread as reference can look and see what I got out of this too!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was my first time ever trying a wet body texture, and let me just say, I fell in love immediately, I always thought it looked to fake, but in this case it made my character look alot better!

b.b.p is just bouncing boob physics and t.b.b.p is tits and boobs bouncing physics it does nothing to the texture but and some life to your character

I wasn't a fan of those texture at all, I don't think they're really much of an improvement on the stock cbbe. When I saw the labia texture I got the feeling the author's only ever seen one pressed up against a glass coffee table. If Ikea did labias, they'd flat pack them just like that one.

 

The poster who said they thought SG texture renewal had a porcelain doll effect, are you sure you were using SG and not say, Fair Skin? This is SG:

It isn't SG, not only ? Because i'm using those textures (like them) but i havent this shiny effect.

 

Edit > OK it's official, this evening i'm particular dumb ... I haven't installed the "wet" option (just the smooth one).
