Hello I need some help with modding here, i'm using XXMI and trying out modding for the first time, i've been able to launch the game, but whenver i load into the starting screen it gives me a tip pop up saying i need to update my launcher, but i have the most up to date version availabe, can anyone help me?

try running the game once fully through the hoyoverse launcher, most likely thats the one that needs updating, and not xxmi...

I tried this already my fault for not clarifying what i already tried and didn't try, for clarification i've tried: deleting and redownloading relevant files, redownloading XXMI, disabling firewall, updating my vanila launcher, as well as clearing my cache and nothing has worked so far.
