Just Business Escaped Slaves mission . . how?

Am I missing something here? One of my captures escaped but I cannot seem to recapture without killing. No mark option, hitting them with the baton does nothing, even tried using a paralyzing dart.  I am sure you will all point out I am missing something obvious but I am just not seeing how to finish the mission successfully.

The obvious thing that you are not seeing is that there are 500 threads exactly the same as this one, and that the answer in all of those threads is the same.

Interesting. I went through the first 6 or 7 pages AND used the search function (finding nothing) before asking the question.  For the effort of posting the snarky remark you could have instead pointed me to one of those "500 threads".

You could always start with this pinned thread at the very beginning of this section.  Interesting indeed.

 

This bug is mentioned several times, the most recent was less than a week ago.  Kill the slave, disable the buggy feature.

Or you could just not have been a condescending jerk to somebody looking for help. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

For anyone in future:

1) kill the escapee
2) go into console and type 'completequest JBEscapeQuest' without the '' marks. If it doesn't end the quest maybe type 'sqt' and look for a reference with a similar name and type 'completequest (reference)'
3) press esc > MCM > Just Business > debug and other > allow slave escape > turn this setting off

At least now you won't get the bugged quest anymore.
