Belly and butt inflation doesn't work

I built the body in BodySlide with morphs ticked. Then I tried cum potions and the mysterious potion from SL Survival(because those are the easiest ways to test it) but only the breasts are affected in the case of the mysterious potion. I have managed to get it working on previous setups, but now I can't see what the problem is or what's missing. Belly inflation from cum potions works though.

As far as I know, the newer Inflation Frameworks require some kind of body-specific preset file that defines what nodes morph and probably by how much. That's probably where I'd start. Inflation Framework should also show you the current inflation values (regardless of visual morphs), that's also something you should check. I would assume if the framework shows 0 for the belly that the problem is in the mod feeding the framework data, not the framework itself.

The nodes are showing a number in the MCM so the problem is either in SLIF or the body/skeleton, I think. What kind of presets are you taling about and what do you mean by newer Inflation Frameworks? The SLIF file from LL is from 2018.

do you have the tullius inflation config file attached to SLIF? (not sure if it's needed in any AE version, but afaik is in 1.5.97 and lower)

 

edit: this file >>> 003_CBBE_SE_TulliusVER.json  (or similar)

 

And as I vaguely recall, it was as download from a user post in the SLIF support page, not part of the installation of SLIF. (unless SLIF has been updated and I wasn't paying attention. would not be at all surprising if so

 

(i'd be glad to attach if you need it and if it's allowed... (~11K text file)

Newer versions: I made my own SLIF replacement years ago but my understanding is that there's a new version. Maybe by baka.

Tried that but didn't help. I also have 3BBB lists that I got from the support thread, but they didn't help either.

hmmm.. tried rebuilding the body one element at a time, (ie not by batch) and making sure that whichever preset you used is 100% compatible with the physics you chose?

I found the solution and it has nothing to do with the body. I had to downgrade to 1.5.97 to get it to work, but the belly looks weird, like an extra belly on top of the normal one with dark edges around it. Not sure if it's worth it when adding belly inflation in RaceMenu looks much better. Which version are you running?

It appears that you've somehow got two bodies competing for one character. idk a Racemenu preset made for another body type, or Copy Character Appearance overlay  come to mind from my own experiences.

My SLIF is built into my FHU which is the foundation for 60 or so other mods I've made. These run on modified versions of SL, SLA, SLAC, SMP, CBPC and other LL mods. To put it another way, to use my SLIF you'd have to abandon the LL ecosystem. There's a reason why I've spent 10 years on this. So, I tend not to share anything, especially in "complete packages"; I'd rather share code snippets for specific issues.

You must have mistunderstood something.

SLIF = SexLab Inflation Framework. Not made by Baka.
FHU = Fill Her Up. Does not have a newer version of SLIF as far as I can see.

 

I already have Baka's version of FHU and that's working.

Admittedly the wording in option 2 leaves a lot of room for interpretation, but the way I read it is as follows:

• Install regular old SLIF.
• Do not install *some* FHU patch for Baka's version of SLIF.
• Baka already patched SLIF, and this patched version shouldn't be overwritten.

So to put that another way, there's a SLIF patch or version by Baka somewhere, which shouldn't be overwritten by whatever is in FHU Baka Edition.

Are you referring to this?

- You can now disable SLIF integration function for each morph sliders even when you have SLIF installed. It turns out sending data to SLIF was causing serious fps drops when the actor is inflated/deflated. But please make sure to use SLIF when the morph slider is currently used elsewhere like "PregnancyBelly" which is commonly used.

That's the only thing he did for SLIF in that mod, and it's part of Baka's version of FHU.

Don't know. My post that suggested there is a new version of SLIF was made in 2023. Who knows what it was based on. That thing I linked from FHU I found with a 5 min Google search. The wording seemed to suggest a patch/version by Baka exists. I don't keep track of these things, as they're of no real interest to me. The only knowledge I have of recent developments in Skyrim pretty much comes from crash logs (and the occasional visits to the Nexus) when the new things eventually break. Perhaps my post in 2023 was similarily based on a crash log, or a post someone made.

 

May want to PM Baka. That seems like a simple way to find out for sure.
