Mesh mismatch between head and body...

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I don't know why, but I had mesh (not color...) mismatch between the head and body.

It looks like female head much smoother than the body. For that reason, where they merge, there is a small line that can be recognizable.

Few days ago, I tried to work on High-Poly head. I installed several mods like:

Expressive Facegen Morphs, Expressive Facegen Morphs, Female Head NIF Tweak for Skyrim LE.

I uninstalled them all. I checked the all files like femalehead.nif, and I deleted them also.

I reinstalled the game.

I reinstalled BodySlide that has its own femalehead.nif

I use Fair Skin textures.

I reinstall them also.

I reinstalled RaceMenu and its addons also.

Unfortunately, I still have this mesh mismatch.

Do you have any suggestion?

If you can help me anyway, I'll really appreciate...

Thank you in advance...

I add few screenshots:

This is the LE section and the OP specifically mentions LE.

but I had mesh

Why do you think that it is a mesh problem? I would look to the skin textures being used for the body and the skin textures being used for the head.

Some skin texture mods make a better job than others with that neckline.

Probably not the HPH mod, I never had the problem so never had to delete the mod. Never had the problem when I used the Citrus head either.

I think that I figure out the problem.

It's about Hi-Poly Mesh Head and Low-Poly Body Mesh.

The head had high-poly. I used "BodyChange" mod. Unfortunately, that mod creates low-poly body mesh.

For that reason, the mismatch occurs and is noticable.

Then, I tired to use a head with low-poly mesh.

After that, the mismatch problem, the line between neck and body disappeared.

So, the problem is not about the .dds files. It's about the quality of body/head meshes.

I had to use an UNPB based body. I had to use BodySlide. Maybe, BodySlide can create only Low-Poly meshes. I don't know.

Thank you for your responses/suggestions...
