General Tech question

Recommended Posts

Just a question that may offer some insight to why my game crashes. Some background on what I use to play. I just use a regular Dell laptop with a AMD Ryzen 5 series with a AMD Radeon graphics. I have an external hard drive in which I store all of my mods on. When I usually get to around level 30-36 my game tends to crash.  The max plugins that I have had are around 125 or less with about 100 mods.  The reason why I posted this here is because this may be a more of a tech question than a general question. What are your thoughts on this?

Get this if you don't already, I have no clue if you're using SE or LE but considering where you posted it, this should be the right one - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59596

and edit your OP with the log that put in your "my games>skyrim>SKSE folder" when the game crashes. It should say something like crash-2023

If I had to guess, it related to either your perks, combat, scaling, and event timer mods, if any.

Ok, thank you for your reply. Just installed it. I'm using SE btw. Question though... What do you mean by edit your OP with the log (sorry, not computer/game mod smart here)?

This is the LE section so considering where it is posted the logical version would be the LE one.

You cannot have 'no clue'; you do not have 'a clue'.

OP is your 'original post'. You can either edit that post or put the log in a new post.

Unfortunately that mod needs to be updated. I got an alert saying that it's outdated for the version of the game that I have. I'll keep my eye out for a new version of it though...

If you're using SE install the SE version of crash logger

Downloaded the SE file of it and it is not compatible right now with the version of the game that I have. I will keep an eye out for an updated version of it. Thank you for your help on this.

probably they have the AE version of Skyrim - but think it's the SE...

... well - then much would be clear from what I have read here

If I were you, I would ask for SE in the forum section - so open a new thread there
as one treats synonymous problems with the AE version
