Modifier keys on gamepad

Anyone playing with a gamepad was able to make "modifier key" (shift on keyboard) work properly? I can sure map what actions I need to dpad, but reverse modifier key won't worked, if mapped to anything on a controller (same goes for SoS), for instance, if I map "next stage" to dpad left, and RB (RB is not mapped to any action by itself) as modifier, in a scene both left dpad and ldpad+RB will act as "next stage". Also tried looking gamepad++ controls, but it wasn't much help.

i'm trying to find a solution too and with no luck... i think its pretty wild after all these years no one else seems to have had this problem before, can't find anyone else talking about this

i do not know much about gamepad but you might need to make sure that the controlmap in skyrim folder is deleted .
