Clara Cox Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 Hello. I have a pack of some things. How do I find out what it is? Where should I install and how can I see? Thank you.
Curtis_S Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 You can encode/decode .[bsb] files using blex.exe. TkShellTools gives you blex (for bsb) and txxtools (for txx) in a convenient right-click explorer menu. The resulting .bs files can be edited with any text editor.
Curtis_S Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 *Blexe.exe will also decode most other game files (models, sequences, poses, etc...) but re-encoding them is often hit-or-miss.
Curtis_S Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 And, if modding VX, don't modify anything in Archives or you'll likely get file protection errors. Put anything you change in Addons, under the appropriate folders.

Curtis_S Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 (edited) He has extensions hidden (see Type column). He also has them set to open in notepad (won't show anything but gibberish). But you're right, they are awfully small to be anything more than a few lines of text. Edited March 21, 2023 by Curtis_S
