Functional Chastity Gameplay Mod

Hi! Absolutely love the mod, exactly what I've been looking for.
Currently struggling with the show off cage feature - whenever the interaction is triggered, the sims stop in front of each other to begin the interaction, briefly t-pose and the interaction cancels without completing. Any thoughts as to what could be causing it?

Ah I forgot to mention in the changelog- there's an issue with Mod constructor right now not exporting phone interactions, so I've added cheat interactions to add the traits.

 

The next update will hopefuly feature a way to add the traits more naturally.

Oh darn i thought I fixed that in this version.

The issue is the game not knowing what speech ballon set to use.

Love this mod! I did some house moving around and I deleted my keyholder sim and now the guy has no option to take the cage off. is there a way to do that or is he stuck permanent?! Its ok if he is, way focused on programming! either way though, I am looking forward to see what happens when he never gets out! also is there plans for other cage types? or possibly a "sissy" type of addition to the mod?

Fun fact I ran into a similar issue myself last night in testing so today I actually added a self destruct feature in case the sim has no keyholder. 

 

Until the next update though, you can simply use chats to remove the "No Key" Trait which should fix your issue.

read thru every comment, retract my original statement. but the option to sign up on the phone doesnt appear at all.. apparently I just had to uninstall and reinstall FML

Hi, I just wonder if you can offer some instructions for adding this trait with MCCC or signing up on the phone? Maybe some pictures? Cuz my game has been losing texts for quite a while, and I just can't fix it... It's kinda difficult to play mods when I can't even be sure which is which...

If you search pyre when trying to add traits with MCCC. There's also a shift click cheat to add them.

Once you have either a casual partner or significant other you can convince them into chastity, and then take their key.

Hi, i had older version before. It had fewer interactions but it worked... mostly. On this version however i fail every single sim-to-sim interaction. My sim can lock himself/herself and thats it. Ask to become keyholder, convince into chas., put into chas. show of chas., take away key, give task... everything fails. I can ask for task (but the mechanics doesnt work, it just adds moodlets, all three of them. Might be bugged bcs its pair created on older version of the mod). First i thought i need better relationship or get sim flirty but maxed relationship or very flirty does not help.

Do they fail as in the sims glitch and do not complete the interaction? (Like do they t-pose for a second and then continue on their way?) or are the other sims rejecting the interactions? If the former, can you let me know which interactions? for the latter, I believe EA changed the generic romance interaction formula. I've noticed that Romance interactions fail at a higher rate than normal. For now my recommendation would be to build up to these interactions, and I will dp research into making a new interaction outcome formula (this is something I've wanted to do anyways).

Hi, i looked into it and Exchange keys causes T-pose. Rest of the interactions are just rejected. I used testing cheats and done some testing and its possible sim will accept but even with maxed romance and very flirty mood they accept only 1 or 2 attempts out of 10. About the EA, i dont think thats the problem, bcs i had older version of the mod not long time ago (like week or two) and they accepted pretty much always. I thought you must have changed something.

Also i was thinking, i never modded sims so i dont have insight into it but why did you chose to set it up as romance? Wouldnt it be easier to have sims "just do it" instead of implementing mechanism checking if they "want" to do it or what not? I guess you intentionaly went the hard way and tryed to implement system that actualy affects game more that just visualy but it leads to strage situations like:

Sim 1 wants to be locked. Locks themself, ask partner if they want a key and partner refuses, makes both embarrassed.

Sim 1 wants to be locked. Sim 2 asks them to lock themself, Sim 1 refuses and both are embarrassed.

I understand whole "convince somebody into chastity" thing, but current system is kinda sabotaging willing sims too.

So no, I didn't choose to go about it the hard way. All interactions between sims in the game are built around a pass/fail system that takes in a number of factors based on your sims relationship, and the kind of interaction that you are doing. They have to fall under the following categories: Friendy, Romance, Mean, Michief or Funny. Either you use EA's formula for that pass/fail or you have to program a new one, which previously I did not have the knowledge to do so. In the Growing Together Patch they revamped those formulas and added a bunch of new subformulas (flirting vs physicall affection under romance for example.)  The older version of the mod worked better because it was made with a different version of the game. I didn't make any changes to which formula to use between updates, but it's clear the formua it self has changed since EA revamped Social Interactions. These changes to interaction difficulty are not intentional, and I am working to fix that. 

 

The Exchange T-pose on the otherhand, is an error on my part (or rather, an easily fixabe error brought about by the program I'm using) and is easily fix. The rest requires the development of entirely new social interaction formulas.

It should be under entertainment tab on phone- it comes up as the first option in my game. I will say that I meant for it to pop up under Social and will move their for the next update of the mod.

Animations don't appear to be locked even when in chastity. Very awkward to have vaginal sex when there is a cage on the penis

Check WW setting, if you have "Everything goes" and "recognize XXX gender as both" it overrides this mod since it works with WW mechanics. And there are animations that will still be broken after that but i think its because animation creator marked one (or both) participants genders as "any gender".

I see, that explains it. Anyway, good job with the mod so far. I like where it is going. I will wait and hope you will manage to tweak difficulty of the interactions or add some cheats to bypass them.

Yeah unfortunately i do not have full control over what animations are allowed, only what roles sims are assigned. Still trying to figure out how to allow for cage sims to wear strapons at east for penetrative sex. Wicked Whims is very opaque in terms of tuning and a lot of it is done through scripting. (Basically .package files are super easy to read, dissect, and manipulate, but .ts4script files are pretty condensed and difficult to parse.)

For anyone that's been having trouble to get the Cage Check option appear, what generally works for me is having my sim strip down naked, and then Reset Object (Debug). You may need to play for a bit, but generally that works for me!

Btw, Chris keep up the amazing work, this mod is a great addition and adds a lot of fun and spice to my current play-through!
