I'm not sure that'll work exactly. My mod doesn't actually use the IDs for the cas parts, they actually use statistics generated by WW. I'm not quite sure how they're generated but you can find them by pulling the sims Statistic logging details after personalizing your sim with WW.  they're also unqiue each ww body pardt, i.e. The same CAS Part has a unique statistic for both hard and soft penis, so you actually need a to find a total of 4 statistics (hard and soft for male, hard and soft for female.) 

 

The codes for the simdulgence cages are as follows: 

Male Hard Penis (Statistic ID 3608018781*): 13785704

Male Soft Penis (Statistic ID 3275106502*): 3683621

Female Hard Penis: 12629086

Female Soft Penis: 2194438

 

(*These are the ID codes for the statistics themselves. They're the same regardless of gender. There is a third for non-penis bottom cas parts, but that's not needed here)

 

So basically you'll need to find the above codes for your chosen cage, and make overrides for all of the tuning xmls in my mod that interact with these numbers. I believe there's only two: The loot actions StayLocked and BeLocked. StayLocked tests for a sims gender and changes the the two WW statistics to the corresponding value. BeLocked checks the Hard penis statistic to see if it matches either of the two codes and applies a hidden Locked buff which basically triggers all the necessary game play changes need for a locked sim.

so unfortunately this is a ww issue. Feminine framed male sims nudity is bugged. my best recommodation would be to swap to a male frame.

Gotcha, thanks! That helps a lot. And yeah I'm opting to do it like that if I can because well making an edit, even with your permission - makes it so that it well is a separate version prone to go out of date. and I wouldn't want that ^^

Loving the mod, got it installed yesterday and everything seems to be working. I have a couple of questions. 

1. With regards to the animation blocking, does that occur without any tweaks to the WickedWhims settings? I seem to be able to still pick animations with my sim in the penetrating role.
2. Are there plans to gray out or otherwise alter actions like the default WickedWhims "Watch Porn" with a computer? For me, it plays the masturbation animation which looks silly when caged.

1. Unfortunately I cannot completely prevent penetration animations from happening. I'm trying to figure out how to auto add strap ons in that case. Basically what I can do is control the role the sim takes by default. However when interacting with female sims or sims marked with the female gender role in ww, that default goes out the window. 

 

2. I hadn't thought of that but I think it might be feasible! I'll look into it.

hey really like the mod but i got some questions, 1 what are the consequences for not doing cage check?i tried ignoring then but seemed like nothing happens, 2 is it possible to change the cage color? i saw it transparent(not sure if its a feature or bugged with another mod) and grey metal but can we have like light blue, or white, or pink and i just didnt see it or its not possible? 3 will keyholding stay only romance option? could be fun to have it platonic or something like 2 sims dislike each other and one locks the other 4 is more a suggestion, having a money/pay goal, like a findom thing, could work really well with the sugar life mod

 

edit: i am considering trying devious desires, does your mod work with it and if it dosent any chance you might make it for DD in the future?

So first to address your edit: no. I have zero plans on making any mods compatible with DD and as a heads, having any of mods made by that creator can get you banned on most mod support discords. Anyways, again I'd love to have more customization for the cage, but it would require a lot of heavy lifting. Maybe sometime down the line, but not right now. I didn't create the cage that this mod uses, just selected it because it was the simplest and imo the best looking of the cage cas parts out there. 

 

For the cage check, after 24 sim hours of the check being due, you will begin accruing locktime (shown with the denied released buff) during which your sim cannot ask for release. If your sim has any chastity goals, they will also begin accumulating counts towards those goals. My long term plan is to have your keyholder possibly show up at your house, and the locked sim would need to make amends. Still working out how to do that.

 

I'm in the process of overhauling all the interactions, and making them relationship neutral, and adding a seperate chastity relationship. Right now though your sim can ask a friend to keyhold for them platonically! You can even ask a gym trainer for chastity fitness goals!

 

and yes! findom is totally feasible, and I'm kinda mad I hadn't though to add it previously XD I'm definitely gonna be working to add more of a dom sub dynamic to chasity, and i think i'll definitely include that! Thank you for the suggestion.

Also is there a way to stop random sims in my household from getting the keyholder trait? 2 of them gained it but I don't want them having it, unsure how they got it either

gotta admit, seeing a full documentation of mod drama was not something i was expecting to see today, i knew there was something cause of a thread about teens in WW but didnt expect it to go this deep, anyway thanks for the heads up, was thinking of trying it cause i read somewhere that it had deeper/more bdsm fetish stuff

 

as for customization i know a bit of 3d modeling(i am a hobbist not a professional) and hey, maybe i could help you? i never used the sims mod tool but i am familiar with blender, i could probably modify, create or import new models, if you are intrested maybe tell me how to contact you and i can show you the stuff i done

 

i think cage check might be broken for me, after missing one the bonus from denied release timer disapear and thats it, just to be sure, cage check and show off cage are diferent things right?

 

love your ideas for the overhaul, a few things that i thought to do in my game if possible would be having chastity theme places like hooters but waiters are caged guys and boss holds the keys(kinda did that with strip club but apearence only by putting the simdulgence caged as uniform) and "enemy"/forced chastity, 2 characters that hate each other, fight, and if the winner has the keyholder trait maybe lock the loser(not sure how ok loverslab and you are into more forceful content tho), another job related one could be being locked till you get a promotion, or on get to work unlocking depends on performance

 

is female chastity on the plans?i know you can kinda of do it with some CC and stuff but you know, not as good

 

and would findom work both ways? like my sim locking say caleb vatore and drain his waller?

Hi, thanks for your great work!! But it seems I encountered something weired (Mod version 1.1.1).

 

When my sim had locked for 30 days and gained the buff "Long Term Lock up (Fine +1)", I clicked the option "Lock Yourself Permanently". But after that, this option remained there while the "Unlock your cock" was still functional.

 

Wonder if it's because I did something in a wrong way? Thanks!!

hello so basically i downloaded the file but i do not know how to enable it i have the cages in my CAS but everytime i put it it goes on instead of the pants and i cannot find the register method for the chastekeep thing in order to choose chastity love also i tried to add the chastity lover trait but it does not exist can someone help please thanks

not sure if i understood what you meant but if i remember right this mod or whicked whims has a bug if you use male characters with female frame that cause there to always be weaing pants, about the trait if you are trying to add it with the whicked whims personalization i am pretty sure its not there, you can try with MCCC if you have it, or shift + click sim > sim info > traits > add trait or shift + click on sim > more options till you find the option with the key icon and select the trait from there

So I have the cage on and working but there seems to be a problem with the color on my end. Mine shows up a mixture of pinkish, silver and grey I tried messing around with my skin tones but nothing seems to make the cage all silver. Any ideas?

take a look at the other cas your wearing. there might be a clashing texture. I know the simdugence cage uses a hidden clothing buff to add the siver texture, so another piece might be using the same body part to add their own.

hey hey if you have the mccc mod installed could you pull the sims logging details so I can see whats up? I'll paste the instructions from the gay archetypes thread:

An idea I had is for any sim to do a mean/mischief interaction with someone that is locked that gives the locked person an embarrassment moodlet if locked less than a week/flirty moodlet if locked longer than a week. And for a male sim to see a locked male sim itd give a funny/confident moodlet, and for female sims it'd be a funny/flirty moodlet

I figure out what I did wrong. I didn’t have wicked whim add to it. Sorry..my bad
