calranthe Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 This is a thread for wanted or available mods that actually fit within the mythos and practicality of skyrim of a land of harsh weather and harsh people. To me mods like lovers pk, creatures etc are all realistic because sex/beastiality happens any fantasy game that does not include nookie is less realistic. So that is a yes to the whole lovers pk system. Breasts, alot of us love big breasts but please lets keep it within reality, it may not be to everyones taste but when was the last time you saw a large breasted woman competing in athletics. Clothing, skyrim is COLD cold cold cold and the people have grown to live with that, I actually like the slimmed down look of female outfits in skyrim after all remember in sports breasts are kept in place using sports bra's etc to stop damage. If anyone has seen the nightingale outfit (end of thieves guild quest) you will see full body coverage can be sexy, on the other hand same quest nocturnal is a BABE!!! from looking at her there is pretty much nothing wrong with the bodies in Skyrim. So this thread is for those of us who want to keep the imersion of skyrim, yes sexy armor leather/pvc/etc but with a realistic approach to the whole omg 99% skin hasto be visible and best armor is thong armor!! Houses build for skyrim (I soooo want a damn castle with a library for all the bloody books lol) should be more castle like, more created against the harsh enviroment from wood to stone. But by realistic I am not talking about Real world realism, I am talking a realism within the elder scrolls experience. Final note: Please do not take offence if this is not for you, there is alot of threads for others

[/quote'] I don't mind this in Oblivion and won't mind in Skyrim, but I'd really want putting some sort of pseudorealism into implementing rape/bestality. What do I mean by pseudorealism? Look at Oblivion - you're fighing a troll and he beats your character nearly to death, then suddenly rape animation kicks in. Huh. Now lets look what could be done better - during fight your characters leather armor is ripped apart; at some point troll hits so hard, that his victim lands on her back, disarmed, and is looking at troll awaiting her death. Troll stops attacking, gets a boner, and then starts having real fun. While it sounds like situation from generic hentai movie, it's more pseudorealistic. Now there's a reason why troll started sex - he got teased by naked female and got horny. I call it pseudorealism, because if trolls existed irl, they would most likely eat naked female
calranthe Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 I completely agree as said in oblivion the rape mods are not the best, checks against your armor and fatigue certain creatures who would see you as his bitch others as lunch after rape and yes the idea of using the break undies framework to have your armor trashed or partially trashed during the rape works well. Most mods just give you the option of naked/clothed/random but rape works best (yes I just did use that phrase) with torn clothing, trashed outfits. Don't get me wrong I am amazed at the work that goes into these mods and I am greatful. We have the three basic types of rape "no no yes"where it starts as rape but at some point it turns into a semi consensual sexual act, plot devices are easily common for these from drugs to magic. "no no no" real rape as in you did not enjoy it, it did not go well and you got violated both emotionally and physically "no no no food" your raped you may even enjoy the rape due to drugs/magic etc but you are dead afterwards a semi version is no no no pregnant type of thing. You can see versions of all of these in alot of hentai or fanfiction. I think it comes down to slowing the event down a little, some kind of lead in be it fight or flight, some of the nicest parts for me of the cursed armor was the slow degradation into the armor over time. Hell if you get raped a check could be made to see if it affected your willpower more chance of getting raped next time etc
Averagezombie Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I think it's more of an animation issue. The basic format has always been... Trigger > soft > medium > climax > orgasm > Havok rag-doll > end. If you want perceived action, (optional) transitions need to be put in place... Trigger > Intro > transition to soft > soft > transition to medium > medium > etc. More stages and possible short variations of the loops that play at random during the right stage would probably get the immersion effect your looking for. But it means a lot more is required of the animators.
Med111 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Actually I wouldn't want intro I mentioned as a part of animation. Player character can be knocked down and disarmed without any additional animations. Enemy can be forced by script to stop attacking and to approach his victim slowly.
Tom21 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Love to see some Armors from Dragon Age 1 & 2 and from The Witcher 1 & 2 and From Divinity 2 Ego Draconis they wold "keep the imersion"!
fluffmuffly Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 You do get a castle of your own, when you own the mages guild.
Azuredragoon Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I was thinking, you know how enemies fall to their knees and cry for mercy? There could be a spell where while they are stumbled like that, if you cast it on them it binds their arms, and then from there you can do whatever you want with them.

With new dialogue system they won't change position when spoken by player.

With new dialogue system they won't change position when spoken by player. Okay, so activate them like that and you'll tie them up. I was also thinking that the rape penalty for the player, losing in combat, should be being thrown out into the wilderness completely naked with their arms bound and without all equipment/gold. They then have to run back to town, get a guard or a friendly NPC to cut them loose, and somehow get back their items which are now located in a special chest at the bottom of the dungeon they died in. Of course, while in that bound state, not everyone you talk to is going to want to cut you loose... and talking to some of the people you meet on the road, like bandits, should be automatic if you get too close...

[/quote'] I was thinking about similiar idea. If you lose to bandits living in a fort, all your items are put inside locked dungeon chest, exits are locked as well. You may move freely inside fort interior, but bandits demand sexual services or just use you character without saying a word. Bandits would attack your character, if you pick and equip weapons/spells or go closer to chest with your stuff. There could be multiple options to escape, fitting for each archetype. Fighter could pick up random weapon and armor, fight enemies, and use key found by bandit leaders body to open the chest. Mage could use destruction spells or use illusion to make bandits fight each other. Thief could pickpocket the key from bantit leader, sneak to the chest, and escape without hurting anybody. Assassin could steal a dagger, and proceed to slit all bandits throats. I'm not sure but to make modding easier, I (or anyone who's up for it) could create script framework and then add each fitting dungeon to it. EDIT: Actually this could fit quite well into Skyrim. If you want to know how, join Thieves Guild and ask Sapphire about her past.
afro-herbalist Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Man I'm sure theres gonna a shedload of both lore-friendly, AND specialist mods sooner or later, I wouldn't worry about it, christmas will come. It might be kinda limiting to try making all the new Lovers mods lore friendly anyway (getting hard in ice cold climates? Its not happening LOL!), although it'd be cool if any naked character gets shivering animations when outdoors. I think in terms of non-adult mods, another good idea would be to make "breath vapour", which would really add to that feeling of cold. Damn, those two ideas above me need to get made into a mod ASAP!
Madmartigan34 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 I'd like to see realistic situations where you might catch people having sex at appropriate moments, in appropriate places. Such as at night in their own bed (married couples). Perhaps bandits in a fort go to their respective bed as well. It'd be fun to just accidently stumble in on some love making, that was... believable rather than some of the situations that came up in Oblivion with people doing it in the middle of town streets. (I really disliked that.) Another mod I'd like is to see dragons that try to abduct female PCs and carry them back totheir layer (A Lust Dragon Mod) something like that.

[/quote'] What about female dragons and male PC's? Also, I got the idea that Estrus could be something done better in Skyrim. Have it cost something insane, like 300 mana, so you KNOW you can only cast it when there's only one enemy around, have it work for both men and women, give it a long animation and probably kill or otherwise KO the target when done. Or make it a scroll that costs a lot, so you have to use it sparingly. Probably a couple thousand septims per scroll. Bonus: Have it work on dragons.

The same thing should happen to enemies. If your fight pushes them into some water, they take more damage due to the freezing cold, and they become stiff and fatigued as the cold turns them numb. All you'd have to do is lure your enemies to an area with water, and you could OWN everyone in skyrim who cant fly!

Making it an ice category effect applied when entering water or cold air (and every 5 sec?) would be also interesting so you could resist it if you had very hight frost resist. Also making it combine with the destruction perk which allows you to freeze your oponents by, for example, raising the life threshold so they freeze faster.
calranthe Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 Some excellent ideas coming in, we are actually in a much better situation than day 1 of oblivion we have alot of back content and seen as the engine seems to be gamebryo 3+ or something I am hoping we can build on what we have in oblivion. One thing really irks me is the vampire in skyrim, it is as someone already stated completely counter intuitive. Only way I can feet is on sleeping people in bed (what about tearing the throats out of enemies while fighting ?) and everytime I feed my powers get weaker ??. I refuse to stop being a vampire, currently 221 necks bitten and 158 days as a vamp hehe.
Azuredragoon Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I really hope new stuff is developed for this engine instead of just porting everything from Oblivion... We really need to start from scratch to deliver a better product.

calranthe Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 Yes that is an awesome idea Remember this is a thread specifically for realistic style mods and ideas that would fit into skyrim mythos and lore, if that kind of thing is not for you there is many other threads to peruse. something else I noticed in skyrim, night time is soo light, I do not think I have hadto use a lightspell or torch since I started playing. or lol is this because I am playing a dark elf.
Kelsirion Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 something else I noticed in skyrim' date=' night time is soo light, I do not think I have hadto use a lightspell or torch since I started playing. or lol is this because I am playing a dark elf.[/quote'] I am guessing dark elf. My poor Briton female mage can't even see in most of the dungeons and nightime without casting candlelight or using a torch. I even boosted gamma to try and compensate and it still didn't help me much. Gamma boost just seemed to wash out everything on my monitor.

That's strange, I play as a nord and darkness is a moot point for me, even in the deepest dungeons or in the middle of the night I can see just fine...
