Instructions on how to use are over at the Kuro no Kiseki thread.  As you can see above, I purchased meatball pasta from the shopkeeper, and got Elaine's swimsuit instead.

 

NOTE: Turn off the cheat after purchasing. The game engine uses the same instruction to buy items and unequip items! (Actually you can use this cheat to get items by unequipping if you are not near a store but of course you will lose what you unequip.)

 

Special thanks to the creators of KuroTools, which I used to get all the item IDs.

By the way, it seems like the translation for this game is almost complete, at least according to their progress log. It seemed pretty decent too, at least going off the earlier version way back when it started. Figured I'd post it here as a heads up for anybody who didn't wanna try modding it until there was an english version out.

I’ll look into that when I get a chance. For now, only delete the .vb file, not the .fmt file.

 

EDIT: Fixed, the fix will be included in v1.5.1. You can grab the fix off GitHub for now.

I'm trying to get this costume. It is not a regular DLC, but something that comes with the official guide. Is it possible to buy it with the purchase override CT?

Does anyone know the number? Because it is in Chinese...

Or... if you can't buy it... is there any mod with it?

The sexy and nude mod by Lakovic has a sexy version of it included.

It's similar, but not the same. So, the files for the original costume are not present?

I'm sure as well. If they have it, model exist but not much activity here so I doubt someone will just cough it up.

I added the Grim Kitty costume (Grimcats for Renne) with the purchase override CT, but when I equip it, the character disappears. It seems the files are missing for these 3 "retail" DLC costumes.

1) Elaine's Z-1 Race Queen DLC Costume (Type A)
2) Shizuna's Z-1 Race Queen DLC Costume (Type A)
3) Renne's Grimcats DLC Costume

Can someone PLEASE upload the original files? I know that @Lakovic mods have variations of these costumes...

The costume is not in CLE version, use Lakovic mod

Well, that's not exactly the case. If you check out my screenshot, you'll see why. I added the costume with the purchase override script, and at least the entry is there. 

What's missing, of course, is the model itself. But if we add the mdl, dds, and mi files, it will work. The pointer to that costume already exists in CLE version. 

Moreover, since Lakovic is including a modded version in his pack, he prolly has the original files.

I don't want to change my basic clothes. When I put the bak folder, the basic clothes come back, but f2 doesn't work.

The files are not in the PC release. One of the discord modders who helped me with figuring out the CLE compression madness when this game came out was trying to restore that DLC, but CLE took out the model files and they are only on the PS4 (which last I heard is not jailbroken for Kuro 2). The items are dummy entries with no proper attachments. @lakovic’s mod is likely a recreation.

You're correct, Kuro2 does not run in a jailbroken firmware and no one has downgraded it. But still, we don't need to actually run the game, we would just need someone to dump it. Either way I know the chance of it happening are almost 0... 

The next best thing I can think of... is there a way to convert the current mod from 3dmigoto to mdl/mi/dds? I would like to separate the costume from the mask.

I wrote that for Kuro 1, Kuro 2 has a few quirks but it should still follow the same basic process. The final MDL must be compressed (should be automatic if you start with an Kuro 2 MDL) and texture names must be the same length. So chr5117_c03_03a.dds cannot be replaced with MyTexture.dds or the game will crash, but MyTexture123456.dds would work since it is 15 characters in length like the original.

 

If you run into issues, ask here in this thread; do not directly message me. I have actually not had that much success modding this game (Kuro 1 is just so much easier to mod), but some of the folks here have made some amazing mods and know the quirks of Kuro2 MDL modding much better than I.

Hello,
So I'm completely new to installing mods.

Let's say I want to use a specific costume from the SexyNudeV1.0 and Kuro2_v2.0 (Shizuna Illya costume and Celis suit)
Is there a way to only enable those two costumes?
I've tried placing them in the mods folder and I can get the F3=2 for Celis prompt but don't see anything changing.
I'm assuming I've installed something wrong or am missing something.

Any help is appreciated.

The mods of kuro1 and kuro2 are not universal, you cannot simply copy the files, this requires certain mod making skills

Ah darn, that's a shame.
Really liked that one Ilya outfit for Shizuna.
Guess that applies to the old golden blood mod for Fie and Elaine too.
