[xEdit] - ignore masters - how to do it?

I have a merged patch that has a list of masters longer than Bethesda's intro. I know the usual go-to method for xEdit is creating dummy esp files so it can even open it. However this is feasible only if there is a handful but not like 70+ of them. I am not going to spend several hours checking my mod manager's warning messages and then copying and renaming files just so I can have a look at the records for 30 seconds, because I already know what I'm looking for, I just can't get to it. There must be a better way or a better tool for this specific purpose.

I haven't used it but you could try this to remove them: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11405/

In the CK you can select the masters and do CTRL-Del on them before you load anything. It seems to not check anything, so that would be the easiest brute force method.

Use wrye bash.

Just for this, it creates dummy masters, so you can remove masters in xedit.

The just delete them after removing.

I was afraid someone would mention it. I have an unexplained aversion to WryeBash for some reason. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet.

But wr does it automatically.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Though I would've prefered if the file could just be loaded without that, because it potentially creates a mess.

Right-click the plugin, near the bottom of the list: "Clean Masters"
