I noticed a few of the event images seem almost modern, and break from the medieval/fantasy theme of the game. Not sure if that is the intent, but its a little jarring. You may want to review those.

 

Also, I played through last night, and I noticed a few of the background stats resetting to 0 at seemingly random times. Its hard to troubleshoot, because the notification window goes by so quickly and there is no way to keep a consistent eye on the stats added by the mod.

 

Otherwise, good job. Keep it up.

It's more a consequence of me not having any artistic skill :: as long as there isn't a steam engine in the pic, I feel it is viable. Although in a perfect world I would have MaxxedSkyrim and would direct my own pics.

 

Skills resetting: This is a Bannerlord issue. It does NOT re-initialize Captivity Skills when you reload a game from the menu. The only thing you can do is ALWAYS quit, restart, load. And keep an eye on the stats to make sure you loaded a good game. Also double check your name/title didn't change on you and you're not checking the wrong person (I did that recently!)

Someone else had this problem too -- make sure you have a Mod enabled called "hotbutterscenes". Or just edit my submodule.xml to remove that.

Ooo, now you've asked me the sensitive question!! :) There should be a decent set of captor_f_captive_m stuff, but it is NOT as fully developed. Blame my proclivities.

Someone else said ButtrLoader wouldn't find me either. I think the required mods in Submodule.xml is why, I didn't make a "tagged" version for their launcher. I can look.

The game-play balance is horrible. I don't recommend this mod if you want to play the game as it was originally intended. As a female player it is almost impossible to gain renown, because the events strip it away much faster than you can accumulate it. Playing as a female, the events throw money at you (you will never be broke) and morale is always high. Also you see the same events a lot. Like most event driven mods, I don't think this mod has much staying power since you can see all the content in about 20 minutes of play.

 

 

All of the Renown values came directly from TB, which copied almost all of them from CEDefaults. It's definitely a more difficult road if you start out with Captivity at all.

 

Not familiar with ANY event "throwing money at you" but we can talk about it.

This goes for everyone:

 

THIS IS A COMMUNITY PROJECT to enhance Captivity Events. I know there are probably 500 events from TB which can be improved, and the only thing preventing me from adding $Yourfavoriteevent is that we need art for it.

 

Whizkid has been giving me great bug tracking. Let's expand to missing events, missing logic, and your favorite missing ideas! And slide me pics!

Hey, write what you like! But I will say, this mod seems extremely well put-together, and I'd love to see what you could bring to the f-sub/m-dom dynamic when the player is female.

are there any requirements, or do i just need the 3 image files? also, is this compatible with tbcaptivity like the old version? and which folder do i copy it into?

CaptivityEvents, HotButterScenes, and KLBShackles are required mods. The 3 image packs linked and the base mod is all you need -- I have taken over maintaining *all* the TB stuff (altho I haven't done several hundred events yet!).

Step one was making more Captor events. Step two, Captive events, has really just started. I owe all the structure to TBCaptivity, I just had some ideas on how to gamify it a bit more.

 

I thought you were asking about f-dom/m-sub with my answer. TB has plennty of structure for f-sub of all varieties, I just have to play through it all and decide what to adjust!

just a suggestion, i think renown gains/loss should be tone down for normal events, but not for captive events as its punishment for getting caught, also morale penalties should hit harder as its easier to overcome due to leadership and food variety, just a suggestion.

 

e.g. <RenownTotal>R 0 -1</RenownTotal> or <RenownTotal>R 1 -1</RenownTotal> or <RenownTotal>R 5 -5</RenownTotal> etc..

 

i usually play with renown choice decrease/increase and renown min at -1000, but point is I prefer renown gains from normal gameplay and not influence by normal events etc..

 

just a suggestion.

It could definitely do with a look at -- it's mostly from TB, so it involves going over 500+ events for Renown change lol. I did take out some of the relation gain as a Slave with your Captor; not all of it, as there are events, but some of it was toned down. Can you think of one example event which gives too much renown?


It's a process! I am curious what money gain that other guy was thinking of; I get Morale coming easy but I can only think of ways to lose money

money gains when u strip lords and ladies of their equipment these sell of alot again TW screwed up as these high end equipment should be sold at 1% of their purchase cost, renown gains impact gameplay as with higher renown the sanbox game just breaksdown into easy mode, top it up with cash and its basically gameover, money comes easy when winning battles. the events form most tb normal events gives to much renown even ce does that but i noticed that has been toned down which makes sense as renown affects game balance, i suggest setting it to either R 0 1 or R +1 -1 etc.., max should be around 5-10 also try to either tone down or remove skill gains, these are game breaking stuff that makes player/companion level fast and op, its a sandbox game after all, my 2 cents.

 

edit: This is my edited events from your mod, i just changed renown and moral numbers to try and balance things out, u can use this as a reference according as its your mod.

@SkipWestcott, i think <SceneToPlay>scn_bc_bv_0504</SceneToPlay> has an alignment problem, male actor behind the female actor is position to low and far away from female actor, not sure if u have this same problem, i am not sure how to edit the scene to fix this if its only at my end.

Alignment is a FUCK.

 

The male characters bounce around .2meters. I cannot get them to stay in place. When I switch my own role Male/Female, the Male is in a completely different position, too. (the good news being that the woman stays put... mostly)

 

These are the growing pains!

 

Regarding money from Lord Stripping --- ummm, I didn't invent that, so I am not on the hook for how people use it lol

 

I did notice some R 1 10 renown events. I will tone those down.

I've got the problem that all the 'skills' added are showing up in my character window. This makes me unable to access my normal skills since they've fallen out of screen. I did add additional mods recently so I'm guessing it might be a conflict with another mod that touches the skill window. I assume you may have added some code that hides those skills that got overriden. If so, in which file can I find that so I can try to patch it myself?

You have Banner kings, right? People say that if you just save the game (ALWAYS QUIT) and reload the skills work right. Try that.

How do you check that it re-intialized Captivity Skills? Does it help if it's somewhere on the load order higher or lower?

captivity.current_status Yourname the Scholar , for example; if you played a game, you or a captive should have some skills built up

is there a purpose of the harem fugitive that u get to capture from the event, is this just to fill up your brothel or are there more to it than that.

Yep, lol. Banner Kings. And that did the trick, thanks. I already tried loading the save before but it seems you need to quit to menu without restarting the whole game for it to work

@lolipop949relevant to you too. Just quit to main menu and load your save from there.

This can actually wipe out your CapEvents skills. To maintain these skills, always quit and restart.

Just for fun! Better than having clothed Sword Sisters in there, imo. Also, there are some events if you have a large number of female prisoners and... a bad reputation.

HOTFIX FOR A STUPID TYPO

 

(TBCaptiveEventsFemale_Dream_Noncon.xml -> TB_dream_lobby -> scene should be:

 

<SceneToPlay>scn_bc_hang_on</SceneToPlay>
not
<SceneToPlay>scn_bc_hangon</SceneToPlay>
