Well it definitely should not crash when you enter a wrong host, so if you can get a crashlog (with things like crashlogger se) that would be great (my mod page contains infos on how to submit logs for bugs, so please do next time)

 

If you go into the Telekinesis SKSE folder you should be able to reset the settings by changing or deleting the connection JSON

thats the problem that i said in my last post its not creating a crash log or a log from this mod. i would have gladly given it

OMFG LOL it was 1000000000% that json that caused the crash i deleted it and it works perfecty XD idk what to tell you. idk what i did but i told you im dumb but it works now. not touching anything

Great mod, man. Thanks a lot!

However, older ported animations that aren't native to ostim SA(like Billyy's or Anub's) don't seem to be supported by Telekinesis for me.

Pretty much only OARE and Lovemaking Compendium
Is it possibly because of missing tags for the animations or sth like that? If so, can someone here maybe tell me how to fix that?

 

If not: is there a list of animation packs that (should) work with telekinesis?

Hmm, that might be related to tags. 

 

OStim has some non-sexual animations that I filter out by checking if the animation has certain tags (like "sexual" tag or various tags for genitals). If the animations do not have those tags, then they won't be recognized.

 

If I didn't do that, the devices would just go off immediately when the scene selector opens.

Any recommendations for a compatible "linear stroker"? I have a Lovense Solace Pro and it doesn't really work well even with the Enable Oscillators option checked. It have very limited movement and only lasts a few seconds before it falls asleep for the duration of a scene.

The only thing I have tested is "the Handy" but there's no reason why the oscillator shouldn't work, the only difference is that its not controlled by movement actions but by a scalar value (like vibrator) but when vibrators work your oscillator should.

does anyone know how to connect a satisfyer or svakom to the game? those toys work on the phone and i don't think there is a legit app for desktop (only found spam and viruses...)

ok so, i really need help with this one. 

first of, i can't connect devices directly with the in-mod method and i need to use the intiface app, my svakom neo works both with the app AND the mod (it's present in the list of devices and actually vibrates with the test spells) but my satisfyer plu (plug-ilicious 2) is not getting recognized by the mod despite being in the buttplug.io list and the intiface app gives me some weird errors with it (although it IS in the list of devices now)

this is one of the errors:
Device errored while trying to connect: DeviceSpecificError("btleplug error: Other(\"Error { code: HRESULT(0x80650005), message: \\\"Per leggere o scrivere l'attributo, è necessaria l'autenticazione.\\\" }\")")

which is telling me it "needs autentication"

 

this is another:

- Try to make it work in Intiface Central

- If it works in Intiface Central, but not in Telekinesis try the remote connection to the running Intiface instance

- If it already doesn't work in Intiface Central I'm out of the loop, you need to ask the ButtplugIO/Intiface devs

given i'm having an error in intiface i'm guessing the issue is outside the mod...do you know how i can contact them?

ok managed to figure out what was wrong:

satisfyer toys need to be connected to the computer first via bluetooth, but they don't always show up in the list when scanning for devices.

on windows 11, to MAKE them show up you need to select "advanced" in the bluetooth detection options (scroll down a bit in the "devices" page).

once i did that the plug was recognized by intiface but wasn't working with the mod, however, once i was able to have the bastard connected to the computer, the standard connection worked and the plug vibrates as it should

ok, weird thing happening, i set the plug up to work with devious devices (setting the DD option to "body part" and both plug's vibrators to "vaginal,anal") but....it doesn't work? like the plug is connected, if i test it "outside" it works but, as soon as i "use" it it stops working and then says it's disconnected, even tho my bluetooth still sees it as connected.

tried with both the intiface and the direct connection (intiface doesn't work at all, connection only works when "outside")

I'm starting to think i have a lead-lined butt...

You MIGHT have a lead-lined butt (or chair) hee hee or the Bluetooth connection from your toy to your PC is weak possibly. I don't have any experience with that particular plug, but have used the Lovense Hushes and Edges successfully with Telekinesis. I would test your plug while wearing it with the phone app and it's Bluetooth to see how the connection is, then I would test it on your PC with a website such as Faptap to see if the connection holds during a video. If it works on both of those, it may be the multiple connection steps you are having to take to get it to work in the game. I have had good luck in connecting toys to Telekinesis (and Intiface for other apications)  by NOT having the PC add them in the Bluetooth section at all. I feel like it introduces some conflicts that require elaborate workarounds. But that's just my personal experience. If my toy has been used by my phone, I find that turning off the Bluetooth on my phone before playing on pc will also help avoid the toy getting hijacked by my phone.

He's right thats a common thing for certain devices that are not well constructed.

 

That, or the battery is just low.
