The Butler Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 I'll properly update this post later.... adding mods, better game description and so on..... for now it's just a topic for user to talk about the game...... 1
The Butler Posted December 17, 2022 Author Posted December 17, 2022 (edited) So game is out, file structure is the same. Previous method of modding will also work in this one. While datamining game game files... Interesting thing I found.... for some reason my perverted mind is distracting me from identifying what it actualy is... Interesting image I must say.... And girls sprites are significantly hard now. Misako sheet Same for Kyoko and other playable character..... SO if any knight present himself to mod you're welcome.... I'm not touching the it.... Previous game you could at least properly see each of the sprites oof.... Anyway. if after 1 week there is no progress, from me or any other modder this topic will RIP, as I'll be deleting it. Are you sure those are the ONLY sprite sheets? It reminds me of something like a specular map. It seems a bit odd they'd completely rework their sprite drawing system when 4 of the 6 playable characters were in the first game already. I don't have the game yet, so I can't check. Not that I have the skill to edit the sprites myself anyway though... Edited December 17, 2022 by Tehman4

Enemies with variations use this method.... IE: The cheerleaders. There was a unique image of the base one, and all the other variants was this way. In short all enemies/character that will have some sort of variables will use this method now. (New hair color, new clothing, etc) I've browsed through all game files (which unity studio could visualize.) unfortunatelly there is no way to edit. THe only way would be through that weird ass spritesheet and the palette (which are 16x16 texture) that hold their colorcode. The only assets easily editable are background characters and portraits. And my guess s that the source files are normal like in the previous game. But when they cooked the game they make them this way to possibly decrease game size, make it harder to mod or avoid having their assets stolen by dubious companies... Aagie Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Disappointing. Looking at the game preview videos, it was looking like a lot of Kyoko and Misako sprites would be the same. I was hoping I could get a 'two for one' deal on the first game edits. At least I'll have more free time since I won't be working on this game! ? 1
