There are some very good pinned threads here in the forums.  Read them.

 

Pick one mod manager, either Vortex or Mod Organizer 2, and then go to youtube to watch videos by Gopher and GamerPoets on how to use them and set them up correctly.

 

Only install a few mods at a time and then test them.  Don't install 100 mods at once.
