Has anyone ever had NPCs no longer auto-advance Sexlab scenes?

This is one my issue in my current playthrough. Everything else seems to be working great. No animation issues, scenes start in reasonable times, no CTD's. The only problem is that the "Auto-advance" setting is not working for both NPC & Player. I looked on google, and from what I understand, Auto-advance is usually on by default for NPCs and that setting only affects the Player's scenes. 

 

I used to always use a combination of Sexlab Utility Plus (from OsmelMC) and Sexlab Separate Orgasm. For this playthrough, I am no longer using that combination and am just using Sexlab, Aroused, SLEN, and Defeat. I am pretty sure Sexlab without any addons was supposed to have NPC-NPC advance through stages based on your timers. Unless I am misremembering. 

 

I have tried the clean up button in Debug to reset everything, and I have tried re-registering all my animations. The issue is present regardless which mod starts the sex scene (so its not SLEN for example). 

 

Any ideas on things I could try, or maybe something very basic I am overlooking? I swear I've been through the Sexlab settings numerous times looking for anything that might affect NPC's scenes, and nothing seems relevant.

Having the same issue, did you find any solution?

There isn't really a direct solution for this.

The problem is mainly due to script lag, that could depend on an infinite number of different factors.

The SL's script that rules the stage advance get stuck and the couple is stuck in the same stage forever.

 

The only quick solution is to install SexLab Tools by Goubo (or the equivalent version for SE), go nearby the couple having sex, press the hotkey of Tools (by default is "shift + H") to make a pop up appear in which you have some options. The first one is "change stage" or something. With this you can make the animation to advance stage.

After that, the animation itself should continue as expected.

DId you ever find the cause for this?  I can't for the life of me get auto advance to work.
