you ever gonna post the actaul 3ba body for misty idk how to do the bsa stuff

hey I just ran through this myself.. I don't like UNP cause I don't use that body so I basically replaced the Texture and Meshes.  It works.  but It will be overwritten if you have to reinstall it or install new again.

But basically, just drag and drop the files into the appropriate path locations

{pathToSteamInstall}\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Meshes\actors\character\mistyskye
{pathToSteamInstall}\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\textures\actors\character\mistyskye

Here's my "extracted files".  I won't guarantee it working for you, but it did for me... so MAKE BACKUPS of BACKUPS.

I could not upload the large texture files so I hosted it elsewhere these expire in one year from today's date.
Hopefully it can get you up and running.

update, ah, so I used console command to get me Misty but when I went into the Bannered Mare, I found Summer was still using UNP body.  Anyways, easy fix, just update the femalebody_2.dds with femalebody_1.dds and good to go.

Thanks a lot for this awesome conversion! I got excited and ended up mashing together a CBBE texture for her from the Leyenda skin and using Paint.net to add her tattoo, before realizing that you had done so yourself, but my scuffed version works perfectly fine, haha.

I'm not sure what bootstrap you're talking about, sorry.. I'm still a noob :D  the first original zip had a different body and there were some visible neck seams, I had to redo it and now the seam is nearly invisible.  I'm sure it can just be packaged up as a zip and installed over the original, i'm not sure how that process works.

But if it helps, I'm using

 to configure my characters boobies/npc/followers with super huge ones, etc.

Did you download the misty 3ba ? You need to build her body with that with zeroed body.

You should be able to just drop both the texture and meshes folder and overwrite them.

What you see in bodyslide is what you still see in game. Does it look correct in bs?

Update: Okay so I redid this by uninstalling and reinstalling Misty.  Body came out fine as expected.

I'm using Obody, with "zeroed body" to build Misty.  You can choose whatever bodyslide you want. It's shown in my screenshoot above.  personally , I deleted the mesh from her bra, I don't use her clothing anyways.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/115025 now exists, I suggest using this instead of mine. This MA appears to know what he is doing. He's aware of the tramp stamp/mesh thing. I haven't tested it in game, but I did look at it in OS. Seems legit. I don't know whether it supports the new Misty Skye versions, and I don't know if mine does either. Ask him, don't ask me. For all I know, he just took my file and posted it. IDC, and I don't think he did. Most likely he did his own work, and now he can support it. :P

If you still really want to use my file, go ahead, but I won't be supporting it. Due to the new file, everything that was here, goes into a

TLDR;/people that know what they are doing: I fixed this, and the link is below.

After further testing, it is not necessary to extract the original Misty .bsa file. This is due to normal Skyrim operation: .bsa files are always loaded first, loose files then overwrite, regardless of load order.

================

What I did:

================

I read the thread, downloaded everything, compiled it all into correct folders, fixed a bunch of meshes, removed unnecessary body pieces and parts, re-saved the .osps I modified, batch built all the meshes using 0 slider preset, zipped it up, and created a mod out of this...thread. LOL!

Pics == a before and after example of one mesh fix. I think I fixed about 10 outfits. Tested all my fixes for clipping on large boobs. Unless you load a preset that has beyond Yuriana-sized boobs, clipping is fixed. If you have 100-lb funbags planned, fix the clipping yourself. Each outfit is different, has few vertices, and needs to be handled with care.

Pre-built meshes included, using the zeroed sliders preset, which is exactly what OBody requires.

================

For Newbs(because, this thread requires it):

================

1. Use the link below to DL this mod. Then install it after Misty Skye(MO2-->drop it into your downloads panel/copy it there. Vortex-->use "add mod from file" or similar feature, or copy it into your downloads folder. If you don't know what I'm talking about here, you need to stop, and read up on your modding tool: now. Once you understand, proceed.)

=============
2a. IF YOU ARE using Obody,

then this is all you need. I've already built the bodies/clothes for you. Don't do anything else. In game(while you are playing), Misty/Summer may have a body that's too "small" to make sense for this mod. Target them, hit the "o" key. A list of body(not racemenu)presets you've installed will pop up. Give Misty/Summer the big boobed BODY preset you downloaded according to Obody's modpage. Done. If you are unsure, again, Obody's modpage. Read.

When you hit "o" on Summer, and change bodies, it's a near certainty that her clothes will be messed up. I know why, and, I won't fix it.

Without spoilers, and because I'm pretty sure of how this mod works(including the scripts, which I can't change. That will open a massive can of worms, especially with this mod, and this particular mod author), I simply cannot "fix" this part, because it's likely to break other things. You won't understand until you play the mod, and even then, you'll need to understand how meshes/outfits work to see the wisdom of my choice.

So? We adapt. When you change Summer's body, and suddenly her...clothes...are all messed up, don't panic. There are easy fixes, for her, and any other NPC with the same problem caused by Obody changes...to some types of clothing yet, not others(read Obody's modpage).

One fix is to simply leave the cell/area and come back. This may "fix" the NPC, but not always. The reasons are: too advanced for newbs == outfit body references vs. actual bodies, and which existed when the mesh was built, etc. There are reasons for and against having a body in an outfit. All of that is outside this post's scope.

The other way is more immediate and certain. First, save your game. If you screw up, you can reload. Find the "`" key on your keyboard. It's at the top left, below the Esc key. This opens the console. Now, you know what "console" means, and, how to open it. Press that key. Don't panic. Yes, there's a lot of weird letters/symbols/numbers. They are your friends, you'll see. Now, we are going to type in 2 commands. But first, we are going to use the mouse to click on Summer(or any other NPC when doing this). Just above the console box you should see info pop up on the right side, including Summer's name. If you see something about a wall/door/anything that doesn't include her name, you missed her. Click on Summer until you see her name in that info. Now take your hand away from your mouse/don't click anything else. Now type in:
removeallitems
exactly like that. Hit enter(always for any console command). If you misspell it, you will see an error. Ignore it, try again, get it right. You will see that command, written in the console, below what was there, and nothing else(bottom left). You will also see all her clothes disappear. That's because you just took away her inventory and her outfit with that command. Next, type
resetinventory
poof, all her clothes are back, are shaped properly to her body, and you see that command in the console. Her inventory, especially the note she is supposed to give you, is restored. Now click on the "`" key, to close the console, and you are all set.

Important: these commands aren't toys. It's usually a bad idea to tinker with NPCs who have quest items you need. Best to adjust their bodies after a quest, or, after you are done interacting with them, and are leaving the area/cell for sure. We can't know when scripts that add items to NPCs will run. The certain way is to leave their inventory/outfit alone until after a quest is over, or way before it starts. This may matter, and it may not. I said certain.

2b. IF YOU ARE NOT using Obody, then you will need to use Bodyslide,

because these bodies are zeroed,

meaning all BodySlide sliders set to 0,

meaning Summer telling you that Misty has big boobs will make no sense,

because her boobs will look like what is in the images below.

In that case, you need to open BodySlide from your mod manager. If you don't know how: stop here.

Learn how. Then proceed.

Once body slide is open, the first thing you need to do is to pick a preset.

Start with choosing 3BA Body Amazing in the TOP left box(named "Outfit/Body"). That is the base 3BA body. Hit the preview button(near the bottom center). A screen will open showing you what the base body looks like. Now, in the box below the one you just used(named "Preset"), find a big boobed preset you've already downloaded and click on it.

If you have one, proceed.

If you haven't got one. Stop. Exit BodySlide. Get one. Once you have the body(not racemenu) preset you like, download/install. Open BodySlide again, ensure the 3BA body is still chosen(it should be). Open preview.

As you change presets, notice the body changes in the Preview panel. Find the preset you like.  You have now picked a preset.

The next thing to do is to batch build(build everything misty skey mod needs all at once). If you don't know what I just said. Stop. Learn about batch building. I said learn. I did not say to click the button, or any button, in Bodyslide, yet. Once you understand, proceed.

In the TOP RIGHT corner of Bodyslide you will see an searchable combo box named: nothing. Inside that box is text that says "Filter Outfits...". Type "Misty"(without the ") in that box. Go back to the the top left box dropdown named "Outfit/Body" and click on it. It will drop down all of the Misty body/clothes. You will know you are right, if every selection has the words "Misty Skye" in front of it. Pick any option.

You will either see a nicely shaped mesh(probably fixed by me) conform to your preset...or you did something wrong. Keep in mind that things like sandals are where the feet are, so, you may have to zoom out to see them. Click around and see the different outfits. If you aren't seeing what I'm saying, start over, you did something wrong.

If you did all right, you are ready to batch build. Before you click anything, ensure you have selected the "Build Morphs" checkbox(bottom left). If all is well you can now click on the Batch Build button. A message box will pop up showing you the completion status. The box will close itself when done.

You may now close BodySlide, but you are NOT DONE!

If on MO2, your newly built meshes are in your Overwrite "mod'(at the very bottom of your modlist == left side). Or, you made patch for Bodyslide Ouput, because you learned how to do that. If so, your meshes are in that patch(mod) instead. Either you need to copy the "meshes" folder from overwrite to a mod you create, or, you need to do nothing, because you already have one.

If on Vortex, your meshes could be a number of places: put into my mod, put directly into game's data folder, or put into a mod that you created for this purpose. I don't know, and can't know.

=============

You are done. Hopefully this helped you guys understand. Don't ask me for help on any of this. All of the above, and learning it well, is vital to your modding activity, and, there are tons of videos and articles on how to manage all this. You need to put in the work on this material asap.

===============

Link for mod:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/3nvlma59f85pdl0/Misty_Skye_3BA_Babalooch_Fixes.7z/file

(corrected, with proper .dds for Summer)

===============

Hopefully this helps all. I've written all I'm going to in this thread, unless I really botched a mesh(and I really didn't). The only thing that concerns me is that I might have missed deleting extra body parts, or there was a corrupted .osp I don't know about. Don't ask for help otherwise: I covered everything, step by step, in the spoiler.

EDIT 1: The only other issue I can think of: if the 3BA body reference is borked somehow. In that case, I'll have to reconvert this entire thing. I give that a 2% chance of being necessary. But, I didn't do this conversion myself, so there's that chance. Oh, and yes, some of the pieces would normally need uniboob/I left a little ragged. Since we are expecting larger boobs here, I've left that out due to the nature of the outfits/mod(examples: bandages are supposed to look like crap, and halter tops will be deformed...by boobs LOL!).

Much appreciated. I was too incompetent to benefit people with a legit product. This was my first project but I always thought this was too sub-par to be released in public.

Maybe I should post your link as well on Download page so people can be provided with superior product. I myself will give a try as well!

Feel free to do whatever you want with this. I am slightly concerned about a few things still. And, please remember this was done in the spirit of helping out, only. This is your project, operating at your direction. If you find something, let me know and I'll see what I can do. I have decent Outfit studio skills. I'm not SunJeong, but I watched all her videos. :)

Let's see how this does, but, if additional problems exist, I have extensive technical/programming skills. One step at a time then?

EDIT: No longer relevant.

After reasonable testing, I've found that in my list, it is not necessary to extract the original mod's .bsa file, as stated above. It works as is. If you are a newb, the spoiler may be of general use.

If you want to know why, and, about additional considerations, read on:

This is due to Skyrim's normal behavior: on game start, it loads ALL .bsas in the entire load order first, then, it makes a sort of second pass, and loads all the loose files(like the ones in this mod) next. Keep in mind: I'm loading the original mod and this patch very late in a wabbajack list, after everything but the list's Bodyslide output mods.

But, and this is a Khardashian-sized but, so I think it's wise to explain more here, and perhaps solve some problems before they start...

...normal behavior does not always apply in the case of patchers, wabbajack lists, Vortex collections, Synthesis, and other things, especially if they produce their own patches. If the original mod is part of a list/collection/somebody else's patcher, or, you are bashing, smashing, and the original mod is tagged, or, you are using some sort of racial skin/body mod that tracks down the skin(textures)/mesh files in your list and alters them? Alternative behavior is possible, and perhaps even likely, since all these things are purposely designed to supersede the constrictions of load order-only.

If one is loading these mods after all that, they should work. Are you? The answer lies in finding out what is actually happening in your mod list, not mine.

What I am sure of: trying to patch/merge .bsa textures/meshes, and loose ones, is almost always a failure waiting to happen.

So, figure out what is going on, and choose wisely. Also, many lists/collections use hidden .esp files. I'm almost certain that a hidden .esp won't show up in xEdit if you don't do something to ensure that it does. Thus, normal debugging procedure == opening an ,esp xEdit to see what is loading first, last, etc. may not help. In MO2, using the "Data" tab(on the right, where the "Downloads" and "Plugins" tabs are), and navigating to the mesh there, may be the best way to see what is happening.

The good news: until @MOVED PINGER, nobody had ever even tried to get Misty to use a widely accepted body for years. We should congratulate the OP, and, be happy because most tools don't consider Misty Skye. We'll see how long that lasts.

I am running the old pre mod apocalypse Skyrim SE version 1.5.97.0.8 and SKSE 64 2.0.20. I really love mods, but I'm too old and too stupid to do much more than load them under Vortex and work out small problems like file conflicts and load order issues. I usually just let Loot determine load order. I also know just enough about Bodyslide to batch build with morphs the outfits and 3BA nude bodies provided by mods to any preset I have loaded in Bodyslide.  (Misty's outfits-body included)

I loaded: Misty Skye 3BA Babalooch Fixes.7z normally under Vortex and it works flawlessly!

Thank you so much Babalooch!!!

You're welcome. Please remember: this isn't my mod/thread. Moved Pinger gets the credit for ~85% of the work product of this mod. I just helped get it over the finish line...I think. I haven't had a chance to play the whole Misty story, with this mod installed, yet(because work/holidays/Buffalo Bills games...just got back from Miami, going to Bills/Steelers playoff game now). If you do play it through, and find something, post it here. I'll look at it and see what can be done. Moved Pinger will ultimately decide what happens next though. Cool?

Ah I probably didn't download this mod because I had already made bodyslide conversions for myself years ago. I should have peeked in here earlier so I could help with things.

Loose files will have priority over bsa files so there's no need to unpack bsa, just make sure the load order is correct.
