gelmir Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I'm having a texture problem, can someone please take a look at this screenshot and tell me why this is happening?  http://www.datafilehost.com/download-fb5e120b.html  I've only seen it happen with male characters (ghouls, too). All I'm using right now is the SexOut mod, several of its plugins and the Fallout 3 MK3 Babe mod.  I use NVSE and FOMM, though I still use an ArchiveInvalidation.txt file, somehow I still prefer to do it like this. Only thing listed in the file is the textures and mesh of the MK3 babe mod.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

You should at least try using FOMM's AI option and see if it fixes it. If it doesn't, then you have an actual prblem.
Tregarin Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Had that happen... had to reinstall all the textures I was using relating to the ones that had messed up. (in my case, females of all types) Â If you haven't used any texture replacers that would affect them, you'll need to grab one and install it.
Halstrom Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I strongly recommend backing up your mesh & texture folders before installing major new stuff, it can save a lot of headache.
gelmir Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 Thanks for the info you guys, got some more questions on this though; Â 1. If I use AI in FOMM, should I delete the ArchiveInvalidation.txt file that's still in my FNV root directory? Â 2. In the .ini files, should 'invalidate older files' read 0 or 1? Or will FOMM take care of that itself once I activate AI in it? Â I should download some body mods anyway, but I can't download files from Nexus. Thanks in advance!

If I use AI in FOMM, should I delete the ArchiveInvalidation.txt file that's still in my FNV root directory?[/quote'] I'd get rid of it... FOMM does it via a BSA so it's completely pointless keeping it and I suspect it might cause some problems if you keep it. (I'm only guessing on this, but it makes sense not to have something you don't need that could possibly conflict with something you DO need) 2. In the .ini files, should 'invalidate older files' read 0 or 1? Or will FOMM take care of that itself once I activate AI in it? I haven't got the faintest idea on that... but I'm thinking the way FOMM does it bypasses that part altogether. (or does it itself... I've never done anything to that and it's a "1" for me right now. I'd have it as "1" just in case) Â Â And yeah, what Halstrom said... always backup your meshes and texture folders before making large changes... even better, backup your data folder if you have the room for it!

gelmir Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 I deleted the ArchiveInvalidation txt file and selected the AI function on FOMM. Still didn't work. After that, I added the nude male replacer bodies and the armor that went with it. That fixed it So thanks you guys!
