The Dragonwhore Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 Wondering if there's an addon for Skooma Whore (or even a separate mod that works well with it) that adds actual reasons to force you to choose to use the drugs I don't just mean like, it auto uses them, I mean, like maybe a stress mechanic, and using the drugs lowers it a lot, that kinda thing. So you can resist it, but falling for the temptation and using them can get you addicted

ttts1 Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 Corruption I think is supposed to do something like this. But I'm not 100% sure how it works.

Also seems like it just adds an addiction mechanic rather than a starter for addiction I'm thinking my best bet would just be to make a plugin and give the various drugs way more powerful effects. Maybe have one that doubles or even triples speech for 10 seconds, really stupid powerful, but very shot lasting, so using it will give you a massive short term buff, but risks addiction

Skooma Whore has a method for instant addiction, the add-on can add skooma chance to regular potions to get someone started (and does lower speech as a setting in the MCM (unless it is another mod that ties into Skooma Whore...I know one of them does). Corruption adds the addiction mechanics to gameplay, but can be avoided by using a specific thing (cuffs, I think?). It's built to tie into the Skooma mods any other mod that affects its various addictions. And MiniNeeds, mentioned above, and similar mods would add requirements to continue use. These mods also add various visual and mobility impairments to simulate the addiction, sometimes making it almost impossible to do anything if you set it really high (they're all optional, so you can turn them on/off). And it would add "accidental" dosing through potions. It would have the ability to avoid affects, like you mentioned above, by using whatever device the Corruption mod sets "dosing" on (again, think it's cuffs but the MCM option to turn it on/off does tell you). Corruption will even change the body to reflect the addiction if you turn it on (or you can leave it off it you don't want that). I guess you could try and set something up in SL Triggers for a consequence every time you do a specific action. I'm not sure there are any defaults that would do this, you may need to add your own trigger. That's about the only other thing I can think of.... Edited November 21, 2022 by ttts1 spelling

Just enable Debug Mode, then set Drug Use Addiction and Corruption to 100. 1
The Dragonwhore Posted November 19, 2022 Author Posted November 19, 2022 Okay, Ill give corruption a go and see if it works for what I mean Thanks

While Apropos isn't officially on SE I seen people use it with some modifications. Also sexlab survival (which does have SE ver) has optional chance for being drugged with skooma when raped (all rapes not just the ones caused by the SL survival, anything tagged aproprietly basically).

I already use Apropos2 Didn't know you could add additional W&T heal items As for the drug on rape, I'm looking more for something that makes me have to choose whether to use them or not, rather than just straight up forcing it

Actually you reminded me to add rest of the skooma whore drugs there, thanks.

I'll probably also leave a note in each one's description about them healing W&T too, because I'll probably forget, lol

Actually no way I can remember so many of them and I use that as an advantage kinda.
belegost Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 (edited) SL Survival has a mechanic where you need to sleep in an actual good quality bed in a tavern or home (or generally interior) to truly rest. It works together with Real Needs and Diseases and Skooma Whore to add a mechanic where taking skooma removes that tiredness for a time. This encourages running through whole dungeons in a skooma-powered state, because sleeping there is either not possible or you can't get a good sleep. Double bonus if using Frostfall/Campfire, cause you can't sleep outside anyway and Campfire tents are not considered good beds, so you need to find a tavern. This may lead to addiction. It also works with sex if using SLSO - taking skooma before lets you fuck like a rabbit. Plays nicely with Arousal, especially once the character inevitably becomes a sex crazed slut. Which eventually always happens. So, at minimum to achieve what you want you need: SL Survival, RND, SLSW+SLSW Addicted addon. Frostfall as bonus. This way you can get your PC immersively addicted over time if you're not careful. Just like in real life. SL Survival then lets you beg for skooma in exchange for sexual favours if you can't get a fix. You can then add all the other mods on top, but the combo I posted above is the only way I know to get into drugs immersively. Edited November 23, 2022 by belegost 1
