Though, this mod is a quest to help a guy retriving his ancestor armors.... they aren't meant to be distributed. It's not an global armor mod nor a replacer, it's a quest mod. It shouldn't be distributed.

I'm not sure if it's compatible with the base bikini armors that this mod uses as masters, because they don't include the bikini armor NPC in Riverwood that Baka's mod needs.
sila Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Does this mod just replace all vanilla armor with bikini armor? Â Is there an option to make it a lower chance to replace them?

This is a % chance of switching from vanilla to bikini armors. You can change the number to any % you want. Â 3

Spawn some into your inventory and put them on your character and/or followers to check if it's workign correctly.
alkt Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 (edited) hi, they're too naked 😆  some of them are wearing complete outfits but a few show up only wearing gloves and shoes  I tried the thalmor set and it looks fine except for a part called "Thalmor Hood III" that crashes my game when i equip it for some reason    Edit: just checked and the soldiers are all fine, its the justiciars that are missing pieces Edited November 9, 2024 by alkt
Corsec Posted November 9, 2024 Author Posted November 9, 2024 Use the More Informative Console mod. Click on the NPC, then open their inventory. Check if they are wearing a torso piece. If so, then it's not a problem with this mod, the armor is assigned as intended, it's just not visible ingame. In that case you just haven't built the Bodyslide meshes correctly. If they don't have torso pieces in their inventory then it's the fault of this mod. Â However, it's strange that the armors are showing correctly when you wear them, but not on the NPCs. I'm not sure what to make of that. Maybe it's something to do with race edits, like if elves have a different body type? Try getting an Altmer follower and then put the Thalmor armor on her to see if it's broken. Â If the game is crashing when you wear an armor piece then there is definitely a problem with the armor piece.
Alias2632 Posted January 13, 2025 Posted January 13, 2025 Question, and this may have been fixed with the esp file you uploaded a while ago, but I have an issue where all the of outfits using Editor IDs in the TAWOBA SPID seem to be skipped for some reason. I've tried changing the DISTR ini to target Form IDs instead and no luck. My ultimate goal here is to get Frea from Dragonborn to wear Nordic Carved Bikini armor. I'll attach a copy of my SPID log. Any help with my understanding here would be appreciated. po3_SpellPerkItemDistributor.log

Are these items that you personally edited? Perhaps you have a conflicting mod?  Try disabling the other SPID files, reload and then check the SPID log again to see if that fixes it. If it doesn't then disable other mods and startup until you identify any incompatible mods.  You could also load your modlist into xEdit through MO2 and then check the outfits to see if another mod is editing the records for either the outfits or clothing items.  Go onto the nexus page for this mod. In the comments, there is a dicsussion about how to properly format the text file, you may find it helpful.
Alias2632 Posted January 13, 2025 Posted January 13, 2025 Don't have much experience with SSEdit, I was hoping there might be a more clear reason for it not picking up on the DLC forms. To be clear, I only edited the DISTR file to attempt to get Frea working since she was the first character I thought it odd she wasn't wearing the bikini version of her armor, despite the bikini book being on the workbench right beside her. The armor is in my game and the SPID works for every base Skyrim NPC, but for some reason all of the unique DLC characters, who notably use Editor IDs instead of Form IDs, are not being picked up for some reason. I'm gonna sleep on it and give SSEdit a look tomorrow and see if there's anything obvious there, but if you can think of something that I might be overlooking, I'd appreciate any advice.

I can't remember exactly why the DLC outfits were put in EditorIDs while the rest were in FormIDs. I think it was because it was simpler for formatting purposes (otherwise I'd need to specify the DLC plugin). Since it is affecting all my DLC edits I'm assumign the formatting is somehow wrong.  I don't remember this problem when I originally made it. SPID has been significantly changed since I made the mod so maybe it's just a compatibiltiy issue with the newer versions. Maybe try an older SPID to check this theory.  Is it only Frea you want to edit? The absolute simplest fix is to use the original SPID file and delete her armor entry, and then use SSEdit to alter her outfit inside a new .esl plugin to add the pices you want. Probably delete all the broken DLC edits too.
Alias2632 Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 Yeah I've been toying with the formatting of the DISTR file and going back and forth with SSEdit for a few hours. Cant seem to put it all together. Strangely enough, if I remove the |ActorTypeNPC| from each individual line, SPID (using 6.8.2 for the record) actually registers the EditorID, but in game she is still wearing her base game Nordic Carved Armor. Didn't see any conflicts in SSEdit to DLC2FreaOutfit in my load order anywhere. Maybe at some point I'll try and put a SPID together myself for the DLC characters. Thanks for replying and appreciate the work you've done with this and the other mods. Everything but the DLC characters work flawlessly for me.

You didn't see her outfit update imediately because the NPC still has her old outfit baked into the save. You need to go somewhere else and wait 10 days for a cell reset to happen, then the game should update her to the new outfit. You can also click on her and use the console to type "resetinventory" to do it instantly but that will also delete anything you have put into her follower inventory.  Â

Yeah tried resetting her inventory with no luck. No clue what is messing with it.  I thought it might be my suite of Bijin mods, since they affect her NPC profile in SSEdit, but disabling those mods yielded nothing. Also, the other Bijin NPCs play just fine with the SPID  This might just be one of those random "works on my machine" issues. If you've touched on your SPID DISTR.ini since you last updated on LL/Nexus, could you share it with me? I'm curious if I just have a weird file issue.

No, there's no updated versions because I'm not actively modding although I continue to provide support for the mods.  The later versions of SPID have changed how the handle outfits, and migth cause issues with my mods. You can look in the support thread for the Lewd Clusterfuck Madness Patches to get more info. Also read the SPID changelog and support thread on nexus.  The next best option will be to get her as a follower and just use Nether's Follower Framework (or a similar mod) to manually change her default outfit. If you have her as a follower you can control what she wears anyway, so hopefully it should't be a big problem for you.
Alias2632 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Ok, the ultimate solution here is to use FormIds and append them with the ~Dragonborn.esm or whatever relevant dlc. No clue why SPID isn't picking up on the EditorIDs at all for this particular DISTR. I'll see about putting together an edited DISTR.ini together over the weekend. Â Thanks again for your advice, I probably should've just changed her outfit via follower commands or the like, but I enjoy bashing my head against the wall for solution to minor problems with my titty mods. Hopefully my endeavors will save another some headache
