Looking for Bodytalk V3 outfits conversion

Recommended Posts

Recently switched to BodyTalk v3, but now I'm having issues with some of the vanilla outfits freaking out. The vertices on the outfits are shooting out all over the place, often across the entire settlement, and it's apparently a bone weights issue(?). At any rate, I'm trying to find something that converts vanilla outfits to BodyTalk v3 for males and I ain't having much luck. There was apparently one for V2 (BodyTalk2 Vanilla and DLC Armors and Clothes) but it's no longer around. There was apparently a BodyTalk discord server that hosted such things, but apparently it's not around anymore either.

Long story short, can someone point me in the direction of either a download for "BodyTalk2 Vanilla and DLC Armors and Clothes"... OR a similar mod for BodyTalk v3. Thanks!

I think the vanilla clothing data already comes packaged with BT3.

Do you have the right skeleton?

Did you build the outfits in Bodyslide?

SynthOverboss' Patreon page here

I have the ZeX (?) extended skeleton. I did try to build the outfits in Bodyslide, but I wasn't seeing the vanilla outfits as an option. Maybe that's all that missing then.

The Zex/ZBG skeleton should be correct, but maybe you have an old version of it?  I think there's a link on the Patreon page I posted.

I think SynthOverboss does have a Discord called Fizztop Grille, you can also try searching for that.  If I remember right, there's also a Zex Discord that you might be able to find, but I really don't go on Discord much.

Reinstall Bodytalk and the FOMOD has options for adding bodyslides for clothing.
Don't build the longshoreman outfit, that's the only one I'm aware of that still has a problem

Also note that I don't think all of the vanilla/dlc outfits are there yet and I'm not aware of anything that is complete for this.

I have a similar problem, I also just started to play with BodyTalk3 just recently and no armors are showing up in bodyslide, only outfits do.

All armors that are worn on the outside are clipping into the character as a result.

The armors clip into the bodys but the only clothing I am currently having issues with is the army fatigues  which on the trader in Diamond City has a baseball outfit in it also. others that have issues are who ever wears anything army. the right shoulder just stretches out to far horizon and a big notch is in that location. I've built it in outfit studio with bt3 sliders. Correction I have built it in bodyslide but checked it in outfit studio. so not sure what the issue is. Maybe it is being overridden by the baseball outfit. not sure

Does anyone know of a guide for converting armors to BT3? Been a while since I have played around with OutfitStudio?

Trying to make a conversion for https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/39743?tab=description

Side note, does anyone have BT3 files for https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/43319?tab=description

The ones that come with the mod clip like crazy and the penis is showing through the pants

Graf's   - Litrally just substitute FG for BT3

You can skip... quite a few steps (Namely the conversion ref) as BT is close enough to Vanilla male shape. Dismemberment has a polygon count limit most outfits CANT do, so you might be able to just skip it.

Thanks for that, but question.

I can't seem to load the nude BT3 body as reference in Outfitstudio? Its fine loading the nevernude as reference for say armors that cover the crouch but if I am looking to convert say the Harness from Tactical Combat Bikini or the Backpacks from GreaseRatGarbs do I just save the project and untick 'copy reference shape into output'?

Cause I tried that and I now have a invisible body.

I am assuming its something wrong with me not being able to load the nude BT3 body as reference?

Any solution for the Longshoreman outfit? Have the same issue...

Body slide had no issue generating all the rest flawlessly for me, but that longshoreman outfit is screwed up every time, funny thing is in preview within body slide it looks fine but if I generate the object it's vertices in the .nif are a mess so it seems.

Like I said looks fine in preview within BodySlide (whatever settings chosen) but must be outputting wrong into the data/meshes directory

Attached is a load of it into Nifskope, of course untextured due those are in the .ba2. Does not matter what slider settings.

Okay I fixed the issue....

Turns out the source .nif for longshoreman in the bodyslide directory was bad to begin with. So I renamed that with a .bak extension to move it out of the way then took the .nif out of the DLCCoast - Main.ba2. So pasted that here and renamed it appropriately. Checked the vertices on it in nifskope just to be sure then generated the object again in BodySlide.

and so is fine now in game...

Sorry for necroing, but having the same issue, would you be so kind and pass the new nif file to me? Else, where can I get it?
