I'm trying to quality-test some bustup mods I'm working on, but I can't figure out where some of the portraits will actually show up in-game in order to see if I formatted them correctly.  Does anyone know how to figure out which events will reference a given .BIN asset?  At the moment, I'm trying to locate an event for B008_120_00.BIN.

That one (from what I can tell on the amicitia wiki, I haven't checked the actual portraits) is a duplicate of Futaba's neutral masked portrait. It's very possible it's not even called ever. Maybe if you have the mod menu installed you can test it?

It is definitely another Futaba Thief Neutral, but slightly redrawn for some reason (difference overlay of the two pictured below):

All the thieves have 3 portraits in the "120-series", which are redraws of Thief Neutral (120), Thief Happy (121), and Thief Angry (122).  Some are without masks with no apparent pattern.  I've started playing through the game with the 120-series modified them so it'll be obvious if they get called, but I haven't encountered them yet.  I tried the menu mod too, but it seems it's not equipped to load a specific portrait, just events.  I really hope that they never get actually used, because it's going to be super annoying to mod them with the existing nude bustup assets.

If anyone can remember a conversation where someone is in their Phantom Thief outfit but their portrait has their mask off, it would be a huge help in figuring out how these things are used.

Actually, I might know. These might be leftover from original P5, in which case I doubt they're used.

Second, the only time the portraits are thieves unmasked are during awakenings.

I checked some old P5 footage and you're right, the 120-series portraits perfectly match the original P5 standard portraits.  Strangely, not all of the portraits got redraws for P5R: Yusuke's mask-off (b005_122_00) in P5R uses the original P5 style portrait, but his P5R mask-ons (100-series) are all redraws (it's easy to spot if you look at the stitching on his collar).  It's probably safe to disregard the mask-on 120-series portraits, but the mask-offs will need special care since not all of them got redrawn in the P5R style.  I'll start publishing mods once I'm done dealing with the mask-offs, though I'm also having a lot of trouble with Haru's bustups, since her Thief portraits are not just reversed, but actually use completely unique geometry compared to her overworld set.  I've got an idea that might work to adapt your mod, but if it doesn't pan out, I'll have to ask for help with making nudes for her Thief set since I can't draw for shit.

tl;dr: Atlus made some really weird choices with the P5R bustups, and I'll publish my work once I finish unfucking their shit.

If anyone could provide some insight into the problem with my costumes, I'd appreciate it as I'd love to fix them for everyone. The affected costumes seem to be the:

- Bunnysuit (both versions)

- Christmas Wrap

- P3D Race Queen (both versions)

- Cowgirl

They all seem to crash the game and the config menu doesn't seem to spit out an error. I thought it might have been a UV Map problem but after going back and double checking, that wasn't it. The costumes work if you happen to also have the CBT mod on, so there's something there that's preventing mine from crashing. I'd like to get this working just so it could be a standalone for those that want it that way.

there's a mod on GB that enables her outfits to show during the battle scenes. https://gamebanana.com/mods/432481 It's only part of the mod. I haven't tried it though.

it adds custom epls for dlc outfits if thats what you mean. you still have to create your own if you add new outfits

Does anyone have a Ohya Redesign mod or just a mod that changes her hair? I was looking at her concept art and just went "damn", Ohya could've been peak, what happened?

Ohya's Concept design.

r/Persona5 - Love this Ohya concept art. Could've been borderline-best girl

So I almost gave up again after coming back to these and dealing with the hand weights again, but with a clearer mind, I had a great idea, 'Why not just delete the hands and use ones that already work?' So I did just that and spliced some hands that were already rigged and it looked pretty good to me, so hopefully you all enjoy these too! Honestly, once I found that fix, these got cranked out in a couple hours and I was inspired to do a bonus set, too!

So here's the promised P3D Race Queen outfits, at long last!

P3RQ.thumb.jpg.34bb02e3c6c675d1d77b7ac0d5d56b04.jpg

My favorite bit about these was getting the glasses to work like glasses, instead of them just being solid colors. Also did a long hair Sumi for this one because I got the glasses to work and thought it would look cool with her actually wearing them. These outfits and the following set also seem to have some weird shading problem that I just could not figure out. If anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know so I can fix these.

And because I was so excited from figuring out a fix to the hand problem, I also made these Half-Nude P3D Race Queen outfits!

P3RQHN.thumb.jpg.4c2ba6017d0c4227e186d042b37e51f0.jpg

These and the following sets were made using jmedia7's nude models, so thanks to them for making these a possibility! I also made some other outfits during all that time I lagged on these, so I'll release them also.

Here's the Bunny Suit Outfit!

BunSuit.thumb.jpg.fa1fb66367d9977edbf8efca08d37ba2.jpg

I know someone asked for this earlier, and I kind of got inspired to do it. Hopefully it's to their liking.

Here's a Christmas Wrap Outfit!

XmasWrap.thumb.jpg.443043a6fb25be9a0c9cc9cba2d7e920.jpg

There's probably some clipping issues here, but they should be serviceable. Futaba's default pose caused a weight problem that took me a long minute to fix but hopefully it's all good now. This also taught me how to use the wrapping tool on blender which I'm sure will come in handy later.

And finally, a simple Apron outfit!

Apron.thumb.jpg.5dfcb0b25d20541df68dc2ccf31f303c.jpg

Hopefully these make up for taking so long to finish those first ones! I packed everything in Costume Framework format, so you're going to have to change some file names if you want to replace them the old way.  Otherwise, I hope you all enjoy!

How to install it in Reloaded?

Unpack the .rar, change the names of the modded costumes you want to use to match the ID of the outfits you want it to replace by referencing this table, then move the files into the correct folder in the Reloaded II directory (for example, Ann's folder would be Reloaded-II\Mods\Nude Mod\P5REssentials\CPK\BOOBA.CPK\MODEL\CHARACTER\0004).

Which outfits did you attempt to overwrite?  The replacements will only take effect while the overwritten outfits are being "worn," assuming that the files are also correctly stored, labeled, and the relevant mod enabled in Reloaded.

For example, this configuration allows me to replace Ann's default metaverse outfit with the naked apron by loading the highlighted file in my Nude Mod folder.  If you want to apply the costume consistently, you'll need to copy and rename it multiple times to overwrite each outfit (summer/winter uniforms, casual wear, yukata, etc.)

While replacing is still an option I recommend installing and following the instructions for this mod instead. It's way easier than replacing models once you understand it.

There also seems to be a problem with my models crashing the game unless this mod is also installed and running, so while I'm still looking for a fix, I recommend installing this one too.

There's a couple things wrong here.  First, edit your folder structure so that it looks like "Nude Mod\P5REssentials\CPK\BOOBA.CPK\MODEL\CHARACTER\0009".  This mod technique is very exact, so any extra steps, missing steps, or misspellings in the directory path will result in files not being injected into the game.

Second, move the "Nude Mod" folder and all its contents into your Reloaded-II directory.  Your Reloaded-II mod list is empty because you haven't put anything it recognizes as a mod into its directory.

Last, if you're still in the early game, you won't be able to see the effects of overwriting C0009_158_00, since that's not a costume Akechi has access to until much later.

I've never used the Edit Mod function for anything, the thing that really matters is how the files are organized in your Reloaded-II directory.  I was able to install Glassic-Sapphic's Nude Males mod by unpacking the .zip and copying the second "p5rpc.skins.nudemales" folder into my Reloaded-II directory.  The files and Reloaded-II launcher should look like this, with Nude Males as the displayed mod title in the launcher:

Maybe it's Reloaded-II probablm bc I did all the steps that you showed plus reloaded reganized the mod file so the file in correct place but when I launch application the mod doesn't appear I don't know if nude is a separate outfits

Yes. The mod only changes the outfit, you still have to actually be wearing it in game to see anything different. If the mod specifically affects the Featherman outfit for example, nothing is going to look different when you're still wearing the regular Phantom Thief outfit in game. Iirc, your equipped outfit only appears in the metaverse unless you A) use another mod to override the real world clothes with your equipped costume, or B) manually copy the modded files you want to use (example: nude Ann) and paste that into a folder for the outfit you want to replace (example: Shujin Winter uniform).
