Hi,

I'm having some trouble installing the mods, at the first hurdle. When I open BASE.CPK in CriPakGUI and hit "extract me", it almost immediately stops running and only ever extracts a handful of files. What am I doing wrong?

have you tried to ask the original modder that make those 2 mods to make ponytail futaba version as well? maybe they will interested to make it too if we ask him i guess

Seems like someone suggested it to them before but I don't believe it was ever looked at. Also doesn't seem like they've made another mod in a while, so I wouldn't want to be a bother and ask them if they're no longer doing them.

I try to Convert this half nude PC Models/Textures for use on Switch with GFD Studio and TexA

After finishing the entire process, the game crashes at the "Do you want to connect to the network" screen.
The possible reason might be that the material's size exceeds 2MB and needs to be compressed as much as possible?

It’s the exact reason I made my own nude mod, and can be seen on page 24 when I was having issues. It’s not just the material size, the models have way too many tris. 

 

When I have more free time I could try making my own halfnudes.

Wow! Your model is truly amazing! I can't believe I can use it on my SWITCH.

By the way, does it mean that even if I lower the texture size, it might not work because the structure of the model is incompatible between the SWITCH and PC?

I thought it was simply due to the texture size being too large, causing memory issues and making it unreadable.

Would anyone have insight into why some mods don't show up on Reloaded II despite putting them in the mods folder, and so I can't get them to work? Trying to use glassic_sapphic's nude persona mod ( https://www.loverslab.com/topic/199294-persona-5-royal-modding/?do=findComment&comment=4245229), and while I can get their other mods to work like the costumes one, I can't get this one to show up

My guess is because the model itself has too many polygons. If a person making a PC mod optimizes their models, then they’ll work on switch since they use the same format. But these models for the nude mods have a ton of polygons and are not optimized to be used on the switch.

nude personas is an addon not standalone so it shouldnt show in reloaded. to make it work you have to add it to a standalone. any mod works as long as the folder structure is like this. more info on third page of mod linklist sheet

 

 

to get menu models working it requires replacing files in p5r cbt. this post has more info

I think I already mentioned it, but full permission to edit or convert any of my uploads for switch or whatever you want to do. I don't have P5 installed and probs wont return to it for a bit but its good to see quality content still being released.

if you want it equippable you can rename it to replace one of the mementos outfits. those start at C0001_151_00, you can use amicitia wiki to pick what you want it over

hm. not 100% sure but. it may have to do w cutscenes that load specific outfits?

 

in the amicita page for ryuji, models C002_101 - C002_109 have cutscene in the costume description while the rest are normal. could be that joker's models for that cutscene are replaced but the others aren't. i dont usually touch those ids bc i thought cbt would cover it but. if joker works n the others don't thats my best guess

 

id try using the character wiki n replacing evthn w 'cutscene' next to it for whoever you want, just copy + rename files to match. if that doesnt work lmk n i'll mess around w it

You're right! I copied one of your files and renamed to one of the cutscene costume (in the case where Ann confronts Kamoshida, I renamed one of your work to c0002_106_00.GMD) and it worked.

I thought it would be better if the cutscene captures what costume I'm equipped currently. But this works too.

For this mod, I don't know why but I can't get them to work. I'm trying to level up Ryuji's confidant and actually, I also have the Gay Joker mod. But I'm aware that it clashes with this mod, so I disabled it. However, it just doesn't change Ryuji's lines at all. But I think something did change:



So I feel like there's something hindering from the event texts to change since the IM SMS text changes are doing fine.

So far, I have disabled the Gay Joker mod.

do you have anything else that changes .evt files? gay joker will def break my mod but shouldnt if its disabled. could try deleting it to check but disabling should be fine

 

event changes need both bmd n evt to work. so anything that touches those could be the problem. stuff like confidant cheat sheet might do it too if it loads after my mod. check if any of your other mods have stuff at either of these two filepaths
