[SEARCH][QUESTION] Need help making a modlist & general questions

Hi! I'm pretty much completely new to skyrim modding. I have some experience now with Mod Manager 2, and how to set mods up, from trying to install More Nasty Critters, but it didn't work sadly.

 

My main questions are: Is it still recommended to use SE? I downgraded to SE, but the modlists I've tried have deleted some of the SE mods and moved to AE.

 

And my last question is; What are some recommended mods or modlists that include things like being raped, bestiality, more character creator options, or just QoL mods for graphics and such?

First, notice that there is also a Special Edition section here at LL. To avoid confusion you should post in correct section in the future.

 

The choice between SE and AE is a minefield topic. There are currently at least 3 major versions of Skyrim AE (1.6.353, 1.6.629 and 1.6.640). That causes some problems and confusion especially for new modders. Not really that much new content in AE version so it is a matter of opinion if it is worth the problems at the moment. Later (some months or a year) the situation should hopefully be better. For now you should be able to find mods for standard SE version (1.5.97). If not then make a request.

 

A list of recommended mods would be highly subjective. The beauty of modding is, that it gives you a way to create YOUR own fantasy world.

You also need Creature Framework mod to get MNC mod to work. Look at Bestiality section in Sexlab Index SE page.

(sorry for posting in the wrong section btw, i'm new to LL and havent explored much, thabk you for the advice & help)

i'll check out the forums you linked, and see if I can make a modlist for SE
