Thanks for the mod! Woohoo!!!

HERE IS THE WAY TO MAKE MODS WORK:

For all who do not know how to open and edit HEX in an EXE file (and to those who have GoG version of the game such as myself, as PAK Unlocker does not seem to work on such, but only on Steam version.)

Edit: PAK Unlocker has been updated, it can now be able to use with the GoG version of the game, so this guide is no longer necessary for players who have such game version.

Edit 2nd: PAK Unlocker has been hidden by its author for quite some time now, and the game has been updated to 1.04.0000, so this guide has become relevant once again (I did it to such version, and it's working).

Edit 3rd: Game has been updated to 1.05.0000, and this guide still works.

Edit 4th: Game has been updated to 1.06.0000, and this guide no longer works, as it'll cause a T-Pose and inputs unable to work.

Edit 5th: It was my negligence by spreading misinformation per Edit 4th in which my statement regarding the following guide causing T-Pose nd inputs not working in-game.

Such statement is FALSE because it was proven that actually the mod itself from the first page of this webpage was causing such an issue, not this guide.

There is a new mod released which can be seen in recent pages.

It is working very well and it is strongly recommended to use that one instead, especially in the latest version and upcoming updates of the game.

Game has been updated to 1.07.0000, and this guide still works.

Edit 6th: Game has been updated to 1.08.0000, and this guide still works.

After updating, one should need to reapply the following procedure, as every time the game updates, it is resetting everything edited to its default values.

Edit 7th: Game has been updated to 1.09.0000, and this guide still works for all Steam, GoG, and Epic shops of the game.

After updating, one should need to reapply the following procedure, as every time the game updates, it is resetting everything edited to its default values.

1. Getting a HEX Editor:

Download and install Notepad++.

This should be pretty straightforward.

Opening Notepad++ will appear a new window, and above it, there should be a row of options, and in those include one called "Plugins".

Click the said option and a drop-down menu should appear, and in it is an option called "Plugins Admin...", so click it.

A new small Plugins Admin window should appear, and it contains a list of items with check boxes beside them, so scroll down until you find "HEX Editor".

Tick the checkbox of the said item, and on the top-right area of the window, there should be an option called "Install".

Click the said option and upon the confirmation box, agree by clicking "OK", then Notepad++ should close, then restarts.

And make sure you are connected to the internet, for Notepad++ to be able to successfully download and install HEX Editor plugin.

2. Editing the game's executable via Notepad++'s HEX Editor to make it able to use custom PAK files:

In the File Explorer window, navigate to the directory of the game, not Asterigos.exe, but Genesis-Win64-Shipping.exe, as the former is just a launcher and the latter is the actual executable, and that is the one we'll need to edit.

The said executable should be located in GOG/Asterigos\Genesis\Binaries\Win64\Genesis-Win64-Shipping.exe.

We should backup Genesis-Win64-Shipping.exe by copying and pasting it in the same directory, then rename it as Genesis-Win64-Shipping.exeBACKUP.

A new small window should appear, and within it, a prompt to change its file extension, so agree to it by clicking "OK".

Right-click again the said EXE, not the one with "BACKUP", and a drop-down menu should appear, so in it, click "Open via Notepad++".

A new Notepad++ window with gibberish characters should appear, and we are going to fix that.

Clicking the option "Plugins" again above the row of options, a new option dubbed "HEX Editor" should show in a drop-down menu.

Hover your mouse arrow on the said option and another drop-down menu should show, then in it, an option dubbed "View in HEX" should be in it.

Click the said option, and the Notepad++ window should show no longer gibberish characters, but a clean-looking columns and rows of characters.

Again, looking above the Notepad++ window in a row of options, there's one dubbed "Search", and clicking it, a drop-down menu should appear.

In the said menu, another option called "Find..." there is, so by clicking it, a small Find window should appear.

In the long, rectangular box of the said window, type the following:

74 18 48 8B 08 48 85 C9 74 10 48 8B 01 FF 50

Then click option "Find Next".

In the large window with columns and rows of characters, a highlighted area of the same you've typed before should show.

In the said highlighted area, replace "74" with "75".

You can do this by clicking "74", then just type "75".

Editing HEX is not the same as editing a .TXT file like using backspace to erase what the cursor points.

Then once again on the small Find window, repeat, this time typing the following:

41 88 45 30 4C 8B 3D

Then, once again in the highlighted area, replace "41", "88", "45", and "30" with "90".

Do the previous step one-by-one by clicking "41", then just type "90", then click "88" then just type "90", then click "45" then just type "90", and lastly, click "30" then just type "90".

Once you are done, again above on the row of options, click "File", then on the drop-down menu, click "Save".

Lastly, close the window.

We should have successfully edited the HEX of the game's EXE so it should now be able to use modded PAK files, such as the mod above, which we'll be installing now.

3. Installing the mod:

Download the mod.

Download and install 7-Zip.

This should be pretty straightforward.

In the File Explorer Window, navigate to GOG/Asterigos\Genesis\Contents\Paks.

Create a new folder named "~mods" in the said location.

Leaving the said window open, create another File Explorer window and navigate to the directory of your downloads, as that is where the location of your downloaded mod is.

Right-click the mod and on the drop-down menu, hover your mouse arrow to "7-Zip", then on another drop-down menu, click "Extract Here".

A new 7-Zip window should appear, showing the progress of extracting files from the archive.

After extraction completion, close the newly-appeared 7-Zip window and in File Explorer's, there should be new PAK files.

Copy the said PAK files and paste them into GOG/Asterigos\Genesis\Contents\Paks\~mods.

Then launch the game and enjoy being a disgusting person such as I am.

Work in progress still, It isn't the best but it is a start, you need to enable sideloading using the nexus mod linked earlier.

Replaces the base costume (with the completion costume and modifies the lower half.)

Edit: Will consolidate stuff here, renamed the packaged files

ModelV1- is the original model here (99)

Model v1.5- is the same as above but without the sheath fitting on the back (99)

SmallSheath- Makes the sheath on the back very small / almost but not quite invisible (98)

ModelV2 - First iteration with a torso and modified skin texture, some unsightly seams currently (99)

Side note the number in brakets is the chunk allocations for the mods, after some testing, seperate mods with the same chunk allocations do not play well together even if they modify completely different things, when others start adding mods, if you have multiple that use the same allocation you may experience missing models/textures or glitching of animations etc (renaming the file to a different pakchunk wont fix it, this gets baked in when packaging)

ModelV1.rar 1.51 MB · 44 downloads SmallSheath.rar 1.24 MB · 43 downloads ModelV1.5_ForSmallSheath.rar 1.5 MB · 51 downloads

ModelV2.rar 3.9 MB · 29 downloads

Thank you. I am using the modelV2. I hope you will make it without the sheath on the back too?

The sheath mod itself is seperate and can be used along side any of the models.

With the removal of the belt in the latest version I did change up a bunch of the stomach area, but it wont end up perfect, hopefully someone much better will make something in the future but for now will just do the best I can.

With the addition of V2.5 I have removed V2, at some point I'll add a version of the model back in with the belt for people that would prefer having it.

Nice wide hips beautiful buttcheeks, really good 3d modelling really suits the game style. Nice little tits you didn't go overboard. Perfect.

Too bad her eyes are WAY too big imo, and her hair clips into her upper body when her head looks up. Is this fixable? I imagine the eyes are easy (for an expert), the hair not so much.

This definately makes the game harder though, becomes hard to concentrate on fighting instead of staring at her bum etc lol.

I actually tried to make a mod for Asterigos, but failed. Because I couldn't repack the files into ucas/utoc format.
I'm curious how you did it.

Assign and generate chunks, use both pak and Io store packaging format

I don't plan to mess with her eye shape for now, but the hair is actually what I have been working on for the past few days, I finally decided to start playing the game and quickly noticed it was static and had overlooked it, though it is turning into something far more difficult than I had imagined it would be, after going through over 50 rebuilds of the hair properties today it looks no better than yesterday.

I don't plan to add this to the main post because I am not happy with the result so far, but for those curious to see it ingame as it is currently I thought I'd put it here

DUDE Thats actually really good though lol! The way it rolls over the shoulders now thats way better than original, thats a mod people would want just by itself (if they wanted no nudity) for surely. The company that made this game should've hired you as thier main 3d modeler.

I can see why you don't like it though, even though its almost perfect; when she looks right up it still clips into upper back a bit? What if you start the part that animates/moves higher up towards the bow in her hair? Would it "dangle" further out and not clip? Either that or is there something in the 3dmodel shoulders that isnt in the middle of the upper back that the hair collides with? Collision detection or something... idk I'm super amateur 3d modeler havent done it for years lol.

The eyes should be easy? Select all the eyes and surrounding and just reduce scale by like 20-30%? It's not that simple? Ill admit I dont really know what I'm talking about as far as actually doing it. And maybe I'm the only one kinda "creeped" out by giant eyes lol?

I feel like we should be giving you some money or something. Noone wants me to say that I bet, but lol imo you deserve something...

This is just a suggestion, but if you can't remove the rings around her thighs then it might be possible to make them look less strange by modifying the textures to make it look like Hilda is wearing thigh highs instead.

Posted

Something I've noticed, because I have that kind of time and curiosity, is that some female npc models (archon Seryne is an example) have fully formed and textured bodies (no naughty bits, obviously) under their clothing, where characters like Minerva have nothing above the thighs.  Not sure if mods for other characters are in the cards, but there may be possibility there.  I may need to learn UE4 modding lol
