Flanker69 Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 Mods gave me revewed interest in Fallout, and I am loving it. But... I feel some affection/affinity mod is missing. Let's say you have a settlement with some settlers and some "involuntary workers (*slaves)" from Just Business there. No matter how you treat them, nothing will change. You can rape and abuse one slave and treat another one with care and love, and they still act exactly the same towards you. What I am hoping for is a mod that makes npc's act differently toward you depending on how you treat them. Kind of a relationship mod that keeps track of your actions towards different npc's. It would be great if someone wanted to make this kind of mod, and link affection system to actions performed in Sex 'em up and Just Business. Someone may mention M.C.G., but to my knowledge, M.C.G doesn't care what actions you take in Sex 'em up or Just Business. M.C.G gives NPC random personalities, which has great potential, but I am hoping for something that can hook into mods like Just Business or Sex 'em up.
KoolHndLuke Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 Not sure, but I think the only way to do that is through named (custom) npcs using the affinity system. Settlers use templates instead and pretty much were meant to serve one purpose- making your settlements look populated. 1
GrimGrim31 Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 It can be done. Every actor can use Actor Values so you would need one of them to track affinity and then functions to change the affinity values based on actions and events. It is an interesting idea but I am up to my neck in other modding right now. 1
