FallenWarrior Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Pirates! for Commodore 64 was awesome. I played the PC version (Pirates! Gold). Really good game compared to the 2004 remake
Symon Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Retro eh? How about 'strtrk' or 'advent' for a DecSystem-20? Circa 1979? Old enough?
Nonsense667 Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 When I was a kid, I played the shit out of every game we had for our NES, out of a pretty damn big stockpile that my grandmother (she was/is a hoarder. :\) had found and given to us. I would say at least 20 - 30 games? It was great. And when I say every game... I mean every game.
Schmendrick Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Oh, the old times! I loved Super Mario Bros, 1, 2 and 3... this last one my brother and I used to play completely every day during summer vacations; also The Legend of Zelda I and II, Final Fantasy: the first, of course and the 3rd (6th in Japan), Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, all of the MegaMan titles for the NES. For the PC we had Conquests of Camelot, Pirates, Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, some Indiana Jones titles, Prince of Persia 1 and 2 (AWESOME GAMES, if you don't know them), Sid Meyer's Civilization, Populous, Sim City, Space Quest, King's Quest... *sight*. I wonder why I had my first girlfriend at the age of 19?
Mashi Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 You want retro, try Breath of Fire, Chronotrigger, FF3 for Snes, how about some retro PC games, I still play Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri...came out in 99. Well sadly both my NES and SNES died years ago, but that's alright. I just finished a playthough of ultima 1-4, and I'm just about to start Star Control 2( which you can get here ). Wish my dad's old vic20 still worked, I wouldn't mind playing some GORF either.
LordJerle Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Pong and snake. Some good classics right there
theskid Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 If you are going to play old playstation fighting games, try getting your hands on Bushido Blade. Fun stuff, I played the shit out of that in my teens. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bushido_Blade_(video_game)
Duoleb The Chosen Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 well since my graphics card is still on coma i've been playing again NoX, and man its incredible that EA still keeps Westwood Online working these days
