kevt121 Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 The only mods I have for werewolves are Moonlight Tales, Bloodmoon Rising, and Heart Of The Beast (for the sounds). Now due to Moonlight Tales, I'm able to have a follower that can transform whenever I do, if they have the Beast Blood. So after I started a new game and did the whole Companions quest, whenever i transform, so does my follower. This is good up untiil we get into a fight. My follower (Farkas) won't fight in werewolf form. I thought it was just him until i tried it with Vilkas, then Aela. None of them fight in werewolf form. Is there a fix for this or am I screwed?
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Are you by any chance using a follower overhaul mod as well? I'm thinking specifically of UFO. For example - I can replicate exactly this problem at my end if I incorrectly arrange my load order (*I use a different follower overhaul - Extensible Follower Framework. It seems fine with these mods unless my load order is wrong). Check out the Comments thread for Moonlight Tales (sorry - yes, I know it's over 3,000 posts long. Just skim through a few pages & you'll see the problem being talked about). **Bloodmoon also has a compatibility patch for Moonlight Tales. Make sure you have it. **Double-check the descriptions & any sticky posts for these mods. From what I recall, UFO is not compatible with one or both of those werewolf mods.

The only reason i got those extra mods is because it was recommended on the Moonlight Tales mod page. And I'm sorry, the mod i got was Werewolf Perks Expanded. Not Bloodmoon Rising. Would it mess up my game if I switched to that?
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Well, I am using: - Bloodmoon Rising, plus the 2.1 update - Moonlight Tales - Werewolf Mastery, plus the MT Compatibility Patch - (Several sounds, models, and textures from Heart of The Beast which doesn't really conflict with any of the above) It's definitely possible to use them all properly together, but it requires a CAREFUL reading of the authors' installation guides. Together with Extensible Follower Framework these all work really nicely for the Companions. I have however had to update my Companions overhaul (*uploading later today - just finished testing*) to deal with the fact that, on top of all THAT I'm using Ethereal Elven Overhaul, which means I've had to make a separate plugin for Athis to put elsewhere in the load order. The Companions are tricky, as they are influenced by all of the above mods. When you get it done right though (*this drove me bananas - I feel your pain*), the results really are worth it. ***I am not at all familiar with UFO - I've never used it. I understand it has not been updated in some time though, and thus compatibility with newer mods is becoming an issue. It may be worth looking at switching to another follower overhaul. If you do however, be SURE to check the UFO install/uninstall section in the Description BEFORE you uninstall it.
