stumpy1975 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 I always thought there was a missed opportunity with spiders in Skyrim, forgetting their main Predator skills of sticky webs and the ability too cocoon their prey. I know some mods have tried to rectify this like ‘arachnophobia’ and ‘devious arachnophobia’, but they seem to concentrate on the spit attack to cocoon you, which can stop the flow of combat and may even cause glitches and errors. My idea is to leave the cocoon action till the end of the battle if and when you get defected… you still can have some buffs on the spit attack with armour replacements to make the battle harder for you, ie hands webbed (gloves) so you can’t use weapons or magic gaged so the can’t use shouts or abilities webbed feet too over encumbered you to make you slower in battle ect at least with this way you can still fight or run instead of being cocooned straight away and stop the flow of combat. what about the cocooning part? im guessing most people use SexLab for sex once an enemy has defeated you and even spiders have sex animations, but instead of a sex animation playing for the spider, what if a tagged SexLab cocooning animation plays instead? this way the battle can carry on as normal and the cocoon part is just a normal SexLab animation. (I don’t know if items can be equipped on you between stages of animation in SexLab, but having you slowly cocooned in each stage would be cool) after being cocooned you could be teleported to a small dungeon where you have to struggle free from you cocoon and finally escape Just an idea

Dojo_dude Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Sounds like a good outcome for Death Alternative or Defeat, until then Arachnophobia is the best alternative. I believe DA HAS a spider outcome/alternate start.

Slitpipes Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 I believe they were emphasizing the word "has". Implying that something similar to your recommendation already exists in death alternative. Dojo_dude is free to correct me if I am wrong. 1
