Which has a few Bikinis, very nice i like to use them

Other then that I use

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/44838?tab=images&BH=0

Which has very nice separate Pieces that go very well with Bikini Bottoms and can be seen as Bikini pieces.

Other then that, there is

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/51697

A very sexy armor,t be Bikini Parts function also as one Pieces so you can use them for it too.

if its a two piece bikini, its actually two pieces. I've downloaded far too many that treat a two piece as a one piece.

It's a matter of less than one minute to separate single-item 2-piece bikini meshes into 2 separate items in Outfit Studio, then another minute to put the newly-separated items into the game via SSEEdit, then 10 seconds to build the new separate-item meshes with BodySlide. Total time to do this should be no more than 3-5 minutes per mesh set.

I mention this only because most bikinis are delivered as a single apparel item, so if you restrict yourself to those that are published as separate items, you may be severely limiting your choices.

One caveat- I have encountered a few (2 or 3) bikinis that feature cloth physics, such that tie-strap bows and other "loose" parts actually move around. While these can be separated just like any other multi-item apparel, there is an added complication with the xml file, which will need to be duplicated and then edited to reflect the new separate pieces. Personally, for this reason, I generally don't bother separating cloth-physics ensembles.

Is there a tutorial on how to do this? GOMA's bikinis are too good to be stuck as single pieces.

Depends on how many meshes are involved, i.e. did the author produce a separate mesh for each color variant or take advantage of Texture Swaps in the plugin, resulting in only one mesh per style.

Is it the ones in GomaPeroPero Land? If not, if you would link the mod you're talking about I can have a look because I, too, am a fan of separate tops and bottoms when it comes to bikinis...

I found it through the link in this video.

OK, that's great, because I have the UUNP version of it already installed!

In my version as well as the 3BA, there are separate meshes for each color variation, which greatly increases the time required to separate tops & bottoms.

However, MiniBikini 11 already has separate tops and bottoms in both the 3BA version you have and the UUNP version I have:

Try using AddItemMenu to acquire MB11- mine are named Yorimitsu Bra and Yorimitsu Pants but yours (3BA) may go by some other name.

yea, the yorimitsu one is already separate. No issues with that. I'd like the other to be separate as well. If you can point me to a tutorial on how to do it, that would be primo. I have more free time than I know what to do with it.

OK, I just made separate top and bottom for the MiniBikini 01 Black.

Spoiler

1. Open the existing BodySlide project in Outfit Studio. If there is no existing project, you will need to start a "New Project" per the published BodySlide wiki tutorial. This project will be the combined one, where top and bottom are all one outfit and cannot be separately equipped.

Once you have the combined Project open, click File > Save As and

  1. add the word "Top" to the display name
  2. click the "To Project" button to propagate the new name throughout the Project
  3. add the word "Top" to the Output File Name
  4. leave the "Copy Reference Shape Into Output" box ticked (for the top only)
  5. click Save

You have now created a new BodySlide file, identical to the original one but with the word "Top" added. Despite the name, it still contains the top and bottom as a single shape in the mesh. The task now is to correct that.

Make sure the outfit mesh ("B") is selected in the right-hand pane and use the Mask brush to completely mask the top. If you center-click your mouse, you will turn on the vertex view shown below. Make sure each and every vertex of the top is masked (displayed in red).

Take a deep breath and click Shape > Delete Vertices and watch the bottom disappear from the Project. Whee!

MiniBikini Split 3.png

You should now have just the top in your render window, so save the Project now that it's really what the name says it is.

Start the above process over to make your Bottom separate- when you open the combined outfit mesh Project, rename it "Bottom" instead of Top, and repeat the above steps, replacing "Top" with "Bottom." When you get to the end, you need to delete all of the "BaseShape" meshes as well as the top, leaving you with only the "B" shape in the right window. You will also need to re-select the shape (just click it again) and then go to the Partitions tab and change the Slot from 32 to either 49 or 52.

MiniBikini Split 5.png

If you don't care, use 49 so as not to interfere with any pubic hair overlays. NOTE: BE SURE TO CLICK "APPLY" after you change the slot, or OS will ignore your change. Now click "File >> Save as" and make sure the output file contains the word "Bottom" and so do the Display name and other fields that need the name changed, then click Save and close Outfit Studio.

BodySlide should still be open, so click the down-arrow on the Outfit Filter dropdown at the top right of the window and hit "Refresh outfits" to make BodySlide re-scan for new Projects. Enter "MiniBikini 1" and hit the Batch Build button, untick the combined SliderSet, leaving only the new ones ("Top" & "Bottom") and click Build to build your new separate meshes into the game.

Navigate to your Data\meshes\armor\goma\MiniBikini folder and confirm that you see 4 new top and bottom meshes.

MiniBikini Split 6.png

Open SSEEdit, right-click in the left pane and click "none," then enter "minibikini" in the filter box and click OK.

Expand MiniBikini.esp then expand the Armor Addon data. Scroll down to the bottom where you will find aaaMinibikiniBlackAA.

MiniBikini Split 7.png

Right-click aaaMiniBikiniBlackAA and select "Copy as new record into" and make sure "new file" is ticked, then name the new record by adding "Top" and/or "Bottom" into the mesh name. Also, name the new plugin when you are asked to do so- I named mine "MiniBikini Separates Addon. Click "Yes, I'm sure" when prompted. You will need to copy the Armor Addon twice, and the armor item twice, each time adding "Top" or "Bottom" to the name.

In the new Armor Addons (Top & Bottom) you will need to edit the World Models to correspond with the new top and bottom meshes you built with BodySlide, and in both the Armor Addon and the Armor item you will need to edit the "Bod2 Biped Body Template" to show only slot 32 for the top and slot 49 for the bottom. For the armor item, you will also need to edit the item name AND change the Armature MODL FileName to match the new Addon's AA and not the old mod's AA. Examples of these edits are below:

MiniBikini Split 8.png

When you have made all the edits, just click the X to close SSEEdit- it will automatically prompt you to save the plugin (make sure it is saving the new Addon plugin and not the base mod's plugin!) and finally you can click OK and go in-game, to find this:

I'm attaching my test addon here for you to use as an example if you get lost- it contains only the 4 new meshes and the new addon plugin, which means of course that it requires Goma's mod or it won't work, or even let you launch the game ("Missing Master"). Also, the reason I'm not including the new OS files I created is that my entire system is UUNP/BHUNP-3BBB and yours is CBBE.

Minibikini BHUNP-3BBB Separates Addon.7z

Hope this helps you.
