Missing Erections TBOS Bodytalk V2

I know a lot of you are going to yell at me for using BTv2, but I was tired of the constant CTD with BT3 so I downgraded.   Anyway, I've been having this issue where the males in my game don't have erections.  I've done a bit of research, and I'm kind of confused because some people say build your sliders with 100% erection (which usually ends up causing the massive genitalia bug) or with 0% sliders.   And yes, the animations are all working just fine, everything is working perfectly except for the erection issue.

Right now, with either setting (0% or 100%) none of the male erections are working.   I think I might have a mod overwriting malebody.tri but I have no idea which one it could possibly be.  Any and all help is very much appreciated!

I'm sorry, I certainly can't support anyone using that old a version.  I'm not going to yell at you, but I would urge you to use the latest version as the crashes have been addressed.  I was one of the people tracking and reporting these issues.  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yzuDyv2iPHp2bxPhyZu_Wlpo7Zb13_Sm/view

Ok, I'm gonna try upgrading to BTv3 and hope for the best.  I'll post here if it fixed the issue!

Sorry I should add this.

 

If you go with the new version you have a couple options.

You can not build the body at all, and the male morphs will Just Work ™️

Or you can build a male preset and make sure *all* genital sliders are 0% including testicles and make sure to check the build morphs box

Also be sure to use Looksmenu 1.6.18 for reliable morphs (Don't get naked in the mirror scene with this version of looksmenu as there is a crash bug there.  It's the price we pay for reliable dongs)

Did the upgrade and got rid of the body texture mod I thought was casuing the malebody.tri overwrite -- nothing has changed, still no erections.

 

EDIT:  I did a complete un-install and fresh re-install of the BTv3 and it didn't work, penises still busted.   I'm so depressed lol.

When you say busted, are you seeing a flaccid penis when naked?  Or no penis at all?

 

Do you have the latest ZeX skeleton installed?

 

If they are showing up flaccid during sex, are you running Looksmenu 1.6.18?

 

And you only have 1 male body mod installed?  Like, you don't also have EVB for male bodies for example?

Penises in my game are preset but flaccid.   I did some testing and it seems the only way to get them erect is to use Bodyslide, set erections up to 100% which of course, eventually leads to the giant genitalia bug.  

It seems I'm gonna have to choose between flaccid penises or giant genitals.  ?

I use BodyTalk 2 in my game without problem. I build the penises to be flaccid, and I use the Indarello patch to handle the erection for animations, and that combination works great.

 

I used to edit the XML files to handle animations myself manually, but the Indarello patch does such a good job of it (so long as I install lit with the option to only be erect when necessary--it's an option in the Indarello patch installer).

 

Ages ago I tried to use BodyTalk 3, but I couldn't make it work and happily stayed with BodyTalk 2. If it's true that BT3 works fine now isn't important to me because BT2 works great, and I see no reason to switch away from something that works so well.

 

I also use Fusion Girl for female characters and use ZAZ Extended Skeleton, of course.

doing a search for "indarello patch" here on this site just brings me back here to this thread. a google search takes me to a mod author on nexus, but I can't find this "patch" in his mod collection there. Someone want to give me a link maybe? thanks!
