My granduncle died not that long ago. Going to the funeral in a couple of days.

 

Also before you go could you post everything you've done so far so that others could take a crack finishing it? I'll understand if you don't want to though.

Anyone ever tried modding Metroid Dread? I've seen occasional SFW mods here and there, so I know it's moddable, so I'm just wondering if anyone's ever tried to nudify Samus yet.

There were a bunch of texture swap mods for Dread, but I'm not sure if mesh importing/model swapping was ever figured out.

Nobody tried to mod samus return which use the same engine so mod for dread won't appear fastly

I just got the other MUCH MUCH more prestigious Time Attack World Record... and finally bop'd Eddie's impossible 606 record.

 

The new WR is 662 rooms. Eddie has said he will not be contesting for it. So this record will likely stand forever.
I actually got emotional when i realized i got the record... because I had been working so hard to achieve it for so long.

This is some of the craziest SM game play ever.

Now both Mainline leaderboards have your mod front and center.

Mind if I ask what happened to the YouTube account and Mega link from your previous post?  Were people so upset about a nude mod run that they mass reported the accounts and the corporations listened to the mass reports or something?

Does anyone still have any of the VRT rom versions and variants? Like the one with the shoes, or the one with the arm bands, or the one with the overabundance of masturbation and hearts?

If so, I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could put them all into a zip file for those who got here a lot later, like me.

Comes with arm bands, boots, original skin and hair color, but VRT's body design (thicc, big boobs and butt, etc.). No masturbation or hearts, but that one should be found somewhere on this thread.

 

Also comes with all the game hacks it's compatible with. OG Super Metroid (with nude sprites) is titled "Super Metroid (N)".

While not anything nude, It's probably within some people's interest to know that someone within the last month or two created a new Zero Suit Samus for Super Metroid to use with SpriteSomething.

Soelily said you use it with SpriteSomething. So you can insert the sprites into the game using that program (it's fairly simple to do and works with most hacks as well).

It's possible that I'm doing it wrong, but it seems like the sprite injection works on a regular rom but not a patched rom. Trying to use it on a Project Base rom results in a Samus who's not all there (regular rom on the left, Project Base on the right):

Works for some patched roms, but not all.

Zero Mission is what I was working on in particular but it's difficult to make it work right just because of how the sprites and palettes are set up. Especially the cutscene I really wanted to edit, it uses multiple palettes so it's not something I'm able to alter. I could try but the colors would be all sorts of f-ed up.

Maybe you should ask some help to other sprite editor but I suppose you should put aside the cutscene if this is the hardest part maybe you will sucessfully modify other sprite from base game like the menu ones 

I'm pretty sure some peoples will help you After seeing first progress on other sprites 👍

Earlier in the thread, I posted screenshots of my attempts to edit the menu sprites. That also doesn't work the way I want it to. The Samus wireframe either becomes transparent or invisible.
