I'm just curious. Did anyone even try to do something like pic related?

Basically pasting female body onto a spider and trying to work from that onward? I realize that's a lot of work, and most likely impossible to do, but maybe somebody did that actually and I just don't know.

A PC would be marvelous but an NPC is propably easier and the only possible thing right now.

Some did do one but they never released it. As far as I am aware.

Any particular reason? Or just "look at what I made but I'm not gonna release it because fuck you"?

Doesn't monster mod for skyrim have a Daedric spider that basically put the ugliest looking "cough" woman "cough" on a spider?

Only problem with it was the upper part wasn't animated in anyway so when you killed it, well it would just freeze up like it saw Medusa.

Pretty interested in this myself, so I unpacked the SkyMoMod BSA to have a look at the mesh in NifSkope. Unfortunately, NifSkope throws a "failed to read file header" error when I try to load it.

If the mesh is comprised of multiple parts for the human body, I *might* be able to make something work. But as of right now, I have no idea how to even view the mesh.

Yea, I no longer use SkyMoMod mainly for the reason that it's monster spawns are ridiculously stronger than the vanilla spawns, and it mainly causes a lot of issues.

Also I think it's not in the Nexus version of SkyMoMod because I think it was one of the few monsters that had "illegal" resources used. You'd probably have to go to VGU or modbd to get it. But I'm not sure about that.

MMMmmmm...thickness....

Neat idea, but I believe the problem will come down to creating a skeleton with working animations.  IIRC, new Skyrim animations require a different FNIS-like program for each creature.

Love that spider-lady's proportions. :D

Reminds me a bit of the spider daedra from Oblivion. This idea calls into mind a couple mods I checked out that altered that creature's appearance -- namely this (URL tags aren't working for me, so here -- http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/32501//?#) and this (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/25960//?). Maybe it would be possible to use the spider daedra as a basic framework and create a modified port for Skyrim?
