starbound Validation for the French Infernal Forge

Hello dear starbounders. I introduce myself, I’m Alastor TheCrow, an amateur modder in his spare time in hell.

 

The purpose of this topic is to present and possibly validate some of my personal projects to have them published on LoversLab's Starbound. In other words, share two three mods created by the humble demon that I’m with you fellow degenerates (joke). All the mods that will be presented have been developed by me or with the help of my dear friend Ableshales. They will therefore be signed by “Abel & Al TheCrow”.

 

Most of these mods are resprites of certain species, new species patched for Sexbound, new pov supports or new weapons with limited interest. We are in my god damn Forge.

Finally, I would like to point out that this new topic will accept certain requests if they are related to the submitted projects. This topic is primarily intended to validate certain projects and isn’t a new topic requesting supported species or features.

 

Since the road to hell is paved with good intentions, you might as well give yourself a taste of forbidden pleasures right away!

PS - I have nothing to do with the ancient Alastor who was reincarnated as a vegetable, and specifically a Crowned Pumpkin. The only resemblance there is between him and me is that we both bear the name of a demon executioner of the underworld listed in several infernal dictionaries.

The first resprites I told you about concern florans and hylotls:

For the florans, I added the tail in the sprites and it's animated. For the hylotls, their tail is also animated, I added the small fins on the arms and modified their head. Also, I modified the base emote to do the ahegao face like in Eixxxo's mod:

However, I'm halfway through it and I've only done the male sprites so far.

Well hey mortals!

 

I'm on a new project. Going through the various conversations on "sexbound", I came across some very interesting information that made me want to take up a challenge.

We all know that we can't flirt with all Npcs, for example those in story mode. Have you ever wanted to conclude with the magnificent Esther? Well folks, your lowly Demon tinkering with bits of code and defacing artwork to get you sex with some of starbound's iconic characters that are normally unreachable.

 

 

 

 

However, I haven't quite finished yet and I'm having some problems with the dialogs. I started from an exceptional mod from an incredible modder, I named Patman:

... Oof. That last pic... I hope you realize why the previous Nuru related mods were taken out of LoversLabs...

The idea's not bad, and it's not hard/impossible to do, since Sexbound already alters the Outpost to even allow NPC's to take damage, rewriting the outpost NPC's to work with SxB wasn't the challenge per-se, it was more so the fact that it would bridge closer towards supporting Nuru in particular. That and the fact that they're all assumed to be just NPC's wearing suits to look like the characters.

Well, that out of the way, good luck with your modding i guess? It's hard to not sound like an ass when trying to warn you to not lewd the "canon underaged character" Chucklefish wrote in not one, but two games.

Well hey!

 

I do owe you some explanations.

First, I apologize for the last screenshot since it was a joke in very bad taste. A very bad joke, yes, but a joke nonetheless. It was never my intention to incorporate Nuru into this mode or even Koichi. Personally, I find their couple very cute and I refuse to alter it directly or indirectly. As you might expect, I already know the reasons why some mods have fallen by the wayside.

To be completely exact, and then what I was a little vague on the subject, this mode is initially intended for Lana who is my favourite character from the origin story. Already I love his lore while I don't like apexs at all and then the Cutebound version gives him an adorable face.

Finally, I wanted to thank you Red3dred for your constructive comments, it is precisely one of the main interests of this topic to have the opinion, if possible, of my modders  elders. Plus, since hardly anyone reads and replies to this topic except you and Algene, it helps me avoid being stoned.

 

To close this rather unpleasant and necessary part of this answer, I want to say that indeed the code of this mode is not very complicated but does not rely on the fact of simply making a patch to change the “behavior”. If you are interested, I can already send you the first versions. Lastly, I'm not sure which npcs exactly I'm going to pervert. I think though for the joke, I'll at least add Esther and maybe Nox Cutebound version.

 

With that, I hope this has been able to enlighten you and raise the esteem you have for me a little.

As for the legitimate answer, that's good to know. I had one too many conversations of people doing some "Mental Gymnastics and Parkour", absolute gold-medallists. That's why i'm a bit bothered when the topic resurfaces. Glad to know you're not looking to poke the moderators of the forums with a stick!

As for the mod, i'm all for modding Lana, feel free to do so! Their face was the only thing, always bothered me in the Vanilla portraits. Really happy that Cutebound fixed the whole "Ape dental-care" thing. Though Nox would probably work easily, and even with Defeat, albeit that would likely break the entirety of the bossfight and quest (as Defeat does lol), and i've had so many requests to support Captain Noble, and a few for Tonauac even... Noble just straight up being a normal player/npc in the way he's implemented helps a lot, but the story NPC's all use complex tricks that i'm sure normally don't play well with Sexbound.

I stop looking at the forums for a week and now we have lewdable npcs, noice, about the fruit salad, just no dude, don't even joke about that, the rainbow lettuce is the one character that I fear, I have seen people more comfortable by lewding canonically younger characters in other franchises, but this weird plant just brings the worst in people when we talk about age.

All unpleasantries aside, I hope you keep on modding, I love your ideas until now, and I hope you can come up with better things, and again, do not even talk about the young vegetable, of course, that unless you are ready to straight up make a "18 birthday party" for her, since she's 17, with that I like to think that people will calm down, absolutely not guarantees, but one can dream, I like her, if only for the fact that everyone gets uppity when she's mentioned.

All in all, thanks for the hard work and good luck in your projects.
