GremlinSleeperAgent Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 I might have gone a bit overboard because I asked about it in three different author's threads but nobody had an answer so I'm trying here now too. Either way, I've had this issue since these animations were created, they never worked for me. I've tried toggling the 'Disable Scaling/CTD Fix' and the 'Even Actor Height' box is unticked, but still no scaling even though the actors still animate. Every non-scaling animation works perfectly, so I'm pretty stumped. Any ideas? Doesn't really look like something i would think too hard about. ? Edit: or they are originally planed to scale but didn't for everyone and nobody bothers much for 4 or 5 Animations?

Afaik, most SL animations will/should apply rescale if it has been set up in SL's MCM to do so. IE, uncheck the "Scaling/CTD Fix" entry and check "even actors height" Although I do have one player who I have modified heavily via Racemenu, adjusting her spine, arm, and legs variables (to create an approximation to a petite - cheerleader type...ie ~5ft tall, but still with the width/thickness of a normal adult woman), ie, slightly oversized head, a compressed, slightly thickened body, and shorter other body parts, including neck length, forearm, biceps, thigh, and calves, just as nature usually does with real "short women", who doesn't respond well to autoscaling. She actually grows larger than NPCs if I enable the "even actors height" setting, so I leave both setting diabled.. and have spent quite a bit of time repositioning various animation sequence steps to account for her diminutive height. (total PITA btw).

Never had even height enabled myself, sometimes it looks off but when you work mostly with the same Race it doesn't matter and seeing a Nord hump a petite Breton sized Character they still look good enough (most of them at least. Not all of course. holding animations best, furniture and standing worst i would say.) But you're talking about normal scaling to even height. These animations are made to be the opposite, keeping a big height difference. Wouldn't the normal scaling of Sexlab not destroy that visual? Sorry, i don't know much about Animations themselfs and don't know if they do some kind of a script themselves, unless they do i can't see any way how those animations could call for the wanted Height of i think 1.15 for male and 1.0 for Women ?

I think there is a single animation sequence in my list that purports to introduce some out-of-the-ordinary scaling, but even when encountered, it has never introduced the claimed 1.15x scaling to the NPC. Aside from the one player I outline in that modified post, my other players autoscale just fine if the appropriate SL settings are checked/unchecked. (that one animation still doesn't do what it claims)
