I've made the mistake to update my SE edition to the Anniversary edition

Well, think everything is in the title.
Since the update, I've lost hundred hours of game.
It completely broke my skyrim. ?

Most of my mods request Sexlabthat isn't working and it says missing esp file of SOS while SOS AE mod is installed and running well.

I cannot launch the game excepted if I desactivate every mod related to sexlab.
After 6 months, just wanted to know if people have succeeded in solving the update problem.

I think the best solution is to be back on the SE edition but reinstalling everything is killing me.

Made the same mistake a couple of times as well. In the end I had to delete everything, install AE, run the downgrader, reinstall all mods then start a new game.

Remember to tahnk Toddy for this...

I am running the AE version including SexLab, SOS, Sexlab Aroused, SLAL, More Nasty Critters, Aroused Creatues, Random Sex and many other mods just fine.

But of course you will need to re-install quite a few mods. Most importantly start with updating SKSE to version 2.1.5 and make sure all mods relying on SKSE are also using the latest SKSE or are compatible with it. But sure, some mods may not have been updated yet (or are abandoned) or may not be compatible.

Downgrade, disable Steam automatic/background updates and don't do things to trigger the update. Your existing modlist should work. Unless you also updated some mods for newer version made for AE.

You don't need to roll back to SE because of that, some of the SOS dependencies also have a AE version and need to be updated as well, same thing happened to me.

Just overwriting all the outdated mods with AE versions of them in vortex and then disabling/deleting the old ones fixed it

Yeah. I had configured my Skyrim SE for the first time about two days before the update hit (I don't look into such things). I just sighed and got on with it, because I couldn't wait to hurt my dick again like I did last time I went on this website. Edit: Now I've made copies of the installation. 130-150 mods. Manually installed on Linux. It's ridiculous that I do this all for just one purpose.
