Sexlab not installing in game

I have the latest version of sexlab installed for skyrim se, and the game runs completely find, but when I go to the mod configuration menu to install sexlab, and after clicking on install and exiting the menu for several minutes, nothing happens at all. I've looked on other forums to try a older version of sexlab but the same thing happens and the install button doesn't do anything.

Don't bother with older versions. Check the dependencies.
