Just found out MO2 nullifies any changes made to the game in INI

They put it in the descriptions now, can't remember if it was there when I firstly downloaded it.

I originally thought MO2 as just a mod manager, but it actually has its own set of ini files for each profile (which I think is entirely unnecessary), that's why when I change resolution to 4k, the in game graphics are still jagged as hell, no matter what I did to the settings, enabling/disabling plugins, until I noticed when I exit the game, the desktop resizes itself, then I know something is wrong with the Ini file.

You could just open the virtual folder and copy paste your ini's in there. Or go into the "ini config" in the drop down menu and copy paste stuff in there.

Also, I think it syncs your settings if you run the launcher normally and then launch the launcher from MO2

MO2 has profile specific ini files, quite useful if the user is ever going to use profiles as a feature.

You can disable this with a few clicks. Press the "Configure Profiles" button, uncheck the "Use profile-specific Game INI Files". Do this for all your profiles, if you have more than one. Now your game will use whatever ini files are found in the default folder (e.g. Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition). I do agree this setting should come disabled by default, since not every user wants to use profiles, and the ones who do surely will know where to find and what to do with this setting.

If you are going to use MO, I suggest using the ini files provided with the profile and profiles you create so you avoid having to edit the ini file each time you do some different play style. One of the advantages of MO is it's profile. If for what ever reason you need to test something by launching Skyrim outside of MO, you can launch it using the original ini that's unedited.

I have used profiles for trouble shooting quite a bit not just for myself but with other people.

These are also useful when I want to keep a load order in tact while playing a new set of mods or other mods list that has hard incompatibilities with my regular mods list.

I have certainly come to understand that I really dont want Devious Devices and its slavery mods in every single playthrough let alone trying to use too many other complicated mods alongside them, when with the tools at hand I can simply switch profile play that sort of game for a while and later just switch back to an adventure style gameplay or combat monster play with mods better associated with that.
