Only ALL the shader hashes need to be replaced in the D3DX.ini file and every mod that uses hashes of PS (PixelShaders).

That was to be exspected with a big update like that.

 

Please everyone be chill. We will have that fixed in a couple of days/weeks. Some hashes are harder to find and the sheer amount of mods makes it easy to forget one.

 

I will be posting updated hashes here. I will be using my own d3dx.ini file which you find on my thread.

Other modders can help out by using my file and updating the hashes they found and adding the current update date to it, a description or suit that uses it, so we have it easier in future updates!

This should include all main hashes. There are probably still some special ones that only appear on rare outfits. This version doesnt not have most of old hashes, so it probably WONT run well with steam version.

Here are the d3dx.ini and demist.ini files I have been using. I haven't had any issues at all with any updates (Steam version) and the shading seems to be of a higher quality than what has been offered so far. Here's a screenshot as well for you to see. Only caveat is I don't have a door option.

The latest update for DMM broke a lot of mods, I'm not sure if using files from Steam would help since Steam is generally behind in updates compared to DMM.

The demist mod wasn't clear in my environment, so I made some changes to improve it.

People in the same situation may be improved here.

@knight77 I seen many post with fixes and stuff so it come down to where my fixes are canceling each other out and i am getting dx3 errors, futhermore i don't even know how to put in the mods i download beside stick in mods folder.

If you used the tan mod through the shaders (KuroKaze78's mode) I found a solution:

1. Make sure d3dx.ini contains these lines, or add them to your file if not:

[ShaderOverrideSkinPS-20220524]

2. Now, go to ShaderFixes and search for the files d4490acbf65bd5e3-ps_replace.txt and d4490acbf65bd5e3-ps_replace.bin, and change their names to 3f36f4a9b69e89bd-ps_replace.txt and 3f36f4a9b69e89bd-ps_replace.bin respectfully.
