V Rising [Nude Mod Request]

Info for modders:

- Assets are in VRising\VRising_Data\StreamingAssets\ContentArchives

- github.com/zhangjiequan/AssetStudio for browsing and finding assets and their archives that contain them

- github.com/AssetRipper/AssetRipper for extracting assets. (AssetStudio has issues with extracting normal maps!)

- github.com/nesrak1/UABEA for replacing assets. The sixth release of UABEA works. The seventh release is unstable, do not use! I have not tested UABEA for extracting assets.

 

To create a nude mod without a code injector (no d3dx11.dll, no BepInEx):

- Replace diffuse map VampireMale_StartingRags01_bc (texture is for both genders) in 9f6cb2b4d069e03315d0a322f5125ff1 archive file with a completely transparent texture to render the rags worn by the player character invisible. Underneath the whole body is modelled.

- Replace diffuse map Vampire_Female_bc Texture2D asset in 7bc13051204dc2d49aeba2f6e2f45ab4 archive file

- If needed replace:

                             - normal map Vampire_Female_n Texture2D asset in 24d10ee7472e0bd706786e47bf59769f archive file

                             - mask map Vampire_Female_mask Texture2D asset in 7bc13051204dc2d49aeba2f6e2f45ab4 archive file

So i just want to remove the starting rags from the player model. I found the bundle that contains it, extracted it, and made it transparent using GIMP but i cant for the life of me figure out how to inject the edited png back into the bundle. Can anyone with more experience tell me what im missing?

You need the sixth release of https://github.com/nesrak1/UABEA/releases

Any Updates to the Nude moding? I'm hoping to find the cosmetic dresses to be topless or some of the female armos to be topless. full frontal nudity would be a plus but not required. I just like boobs. (   o   Y   o   )

I mean I'm really hoping some new interest will be taken up by the modding community with the Oakveil Invaders update. 

I'm still hoping for seggs mods, especially since with the Oakveil update we'll be able to capture any and every creature in the wild.

Im very unfamiliar with these softwares but i spent some time and followed the process you mentioned above. I keep getting stuck at the same step due to my inexperience with the softwares. I couldn't find a way to do it myself, or seen anyone else do it out there either. Could you provide more help please?
