Mecesis Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 Hello! Please, does anyone know where this tattoo comes from? Why is it embedded in most of my female NPCs? I have already removed the last installed mods. I know it's a detail of the skin, but it doesn't seem to me in the CUS... HELP
7cupsbobatae Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 Hi! Have you tried the removing tattoo cheat code? If you haven't already, after opening cheat code tab with "ctrl + shift + c", you can type ' ww.remove_sim_tattoos ' and then hit enter. @Mecesis And also, fixing nude outfit cheat comes handy when you start a new game which is ' ww.fix_all_sims_nude_outfit '
Mecesis Posted May 16, 2022 Author Posted May 16, 2022 Hello! Thanks for your answer. but...doing that cheat, will I erase the tattoos of all the sims? The problem is that it is in almost all female NPCs. I know it's a "skin detail" because when I remove it in the CUS, it disappears. But it doesn't appear in the CUS columns to be able to remove or put it, identify it... And I don't know where that tattoo came from that seems to have been embedded in some NPCs! That's why I asked for help in case someone recognizes it..

The game can remember tattoos for some reason. You can use a specific WW command to remove all tattoos, this should affect all sims if I remember right.

HELP If you are using Nisa's Wicked Perversions, some tattoos are given out as rewards. You can disable these in the mod's options. If you aren't using that mod then do the following: You can do the 50/50 rule or use the 'Sims 4 Tray Importer' method. Sims 4 Tray Importer method: Move one of the affected female Sims to its own household Remove all CC from ALL outfits including clothing, shoes, hair, makeup, accessories (head and body), tattoos (aside from the one you are trying to remove), etc. Save the Sim Open the household again and save it to the gallery Download and run 'Sims 4 Tray Importer' Click on the Library button in the top left The household that you just saved to the gallery will be at the top of the list, make sure it is highlighted/selected Click on the 'CC' tab towards the top of the window All CC that the Sim is using will be listed by filename Delete the offending file/s - Note: There may be some files that you want to keep so try removing one file at a time and test This will also show you all the default replacement CC mods that you have installed as they will show up also This method is a bit more complicated but with huge mod lists like mine it saves me a lot of time and frustration. Good luck!
Mecesis Posted May 17, 2022 Author Posted May 17, 2022 Hello, thank you very much for your help! Must it be one of these 4 mods? If so can I remove them and it won't affect anything else? I mean, they are supposed to be mods already passed through a new version, correct? I just don't understand the reason for this. The curious thing is that I have located that tattoo, it is from the base game, but I cannot remove it from the affected sims....

I would remove all the BB (better bodies) mods and your top and bottom replacements and use the default ones from Wicked Whims for now. You are using a very old version of EVE body also. You need to remove your old mods and update them. I hate to tell you this but you may need to start over completely - download new mods and start over with a new game.

The funny thing is that even with all this (outdated mods) everything worked fine... I downloaded cc clothes and this appeared... If I put another detail of the skin on the affected SIMS, that one disappears. In order not to restart a new game, I will correct them one by one But I will take the opportunity to clean the body parts that you indicate. Although I still do not know how this error has occurred, only installing cc clothes. Thanks for the help !

Pase el puntero del mouse sobre él y busque la X roja y luego haga clic en la X y eliminará todos los tatuajes. Nooo thanks for the help, but I've already tried that and the tattoo is still there, in a more transparent tone, but it's still there

Sure seem strange that something like clothing would mess up the games tattoos so bad you can't remove them.

Claro que parece extraño que algo como la ropa arruine los tatuajes de los juegos tanto que no puedas quitarlos. TRUE? Also involving a tattoo from the game, that's why I couldn't find it in the CUS with the CC filter. The normal thing would be that it was a cc tattoo that had slipped in when I downloaded a full outfit, or the cc of a sim... As soon as I saw this error, I removed all the cc of clothes that I had downloaded and could be the cause of this error, but no...it was still there..

You can always try starting a new save game for experimenting with to see if the same thing happens or not. That way you won't goof up your other original save game. On occasion some things get saved on Sims and can get stuck on Sims in the Save itself. Normally removing the broken CC gets rid of the problem when you load the Save again as long as you've deleted the localthumbcache.pkg to remove old cached game data. If a new game save has the same problem then it's likely caused by some default CC that always gets applied to all Sims in every save game.

I did not know that this file existed and what it was used for. I have deleted it. And that embedded tattoo continues there !! Well, it seems that nothing can be done but to remove it Sim by Sim by placing another "skin detail" Thanks for your help!

Typically what we do is remove all Mods/CC from the game except for Wicked Whims + Animations and then delete the localthumbcache.pkg. Start from scratch and load the game with just the above and then do a 'save as' whatever. This should remove any unwanted CC that was hiding. Now you have to be careful installing CC and details back into game and watch for the problem to come back. By only adding a few at a time it's easier to keep track and find the culprit. Make a new folder in Mods named Testing to try out new CC until you're sure it's safe first before moving them into their own category folders. If all makeup CC is installed into a folder named 'CC Makeup' then all you have to do later on is just remove that folder to test all the makeup CC you have installed. Use category folders for all CC you install later. Mods/Body Details Mods/CC Clothing Mods/CC Makeup Mods/CC Skin Overlays Mods/CC Skins Mods/CC Tattoos etc.
