Astara-Ki Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 Hoo boy. I'm no stranger to Skyrim modding, but I really have no idea what's going on. As the title implies, I'm having a few issues with my copy of Skyrim after installing SexLab, Devious Devices, and a couple other Lover's Lab titles. After fiddling around with the mods for about a day, I got them all to work properly! Tried a few scenes, tripped a few trapped chests, you get the picture. My character's up to level 6 at this point. However, I'm running into an increasingly large number of game ending issues. Sometimes, when I open my menu too fast (Anything with UI, be it inventory, quickbar, level up screen, etc.), the game CTDs. Sometimes, when I'm just walking around, the game freezes. The audio plays just fine, but the game itself is paused in time. Sometimes, when entering a new loading zone, it loads infinitely. Same thing for fast travel or new character creation, as well as loading saves half the time. I truly have no idea what could be causing so much instability; my computer is more than equipped to handle it, and I ran all the programs (CBBE, FNIS, LOOT). Everything checks out. I tried the solutions in the troubleshooting masterpost, all the way up to file manipulation- I'm hoping the issue is something simple I'm overlooking so I can avoid deleting and redownloading Skyrim, which is looking more and more like the move. Included are 4 logs that I generated while attempting to debug. .3 and .2 are both freezes (One right outside the area where you first meet the Companions and the other just north of Riverwood, respectively), .1 is an infinite load) of the same save that got me .3 and .2, and .0 is from a failed character creation which also resulted in an infinite load. I've also attached my load order, as generated by Vortex. Any additional information I would be happy to supply, and thank you in advance for any help or advice you could give me! -A-K Papyrus.0.log Papyrus.1.log Papyrus.2.log Papyrus.3.log loadorder.txt

Yeah, that looks weird. Instead of having the mod configure itself like other mods, that one just downloads all the ESPs and tells you to activate them yourself. I've only got one of each activated. It just doesn't show it on the esp list. Thanks for the links, though- I'll take a look at them later when I have time.
Astara-Ki Posted May 17, 2022 Author Posted May 17, 2022 Well, I went ahead and bit the bullet. Uninstalled everything, deleted all the mods, then uninstalled Skyrim and reinstalled it on my secondary drive. I followed the Conglomerate guide to a T for the download process, but now I've run into an issue. For whatever reason, FNIS *really* doesn't like it that I've downloaded it (and Skyrim) on my D drive instead of my C drive. When I try to run it, I get these two error messages: FNIS Behavior V7.6 XXL 5/17/2022 5:59:20 AM Generator: D:\Vortex Mods\skyrim\FNIS Behavior 7_6 XXL-11811-7-6-1582308148\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe >>Warning: Bad installation. Generator not run from <Skyrim_Data>\Tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users. If you use a mod manager, run FNIS from its list of supported tools.<< Skyrim 32bit: ??.??.?? - D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (Steam) >>Warning: Expected generator path: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users not found<< I've tried deleting the tool from Vortex's dashboard toolbar and redownloading FNIS, but no tool pops up like it did when I downloaded it the first time (on the C drive). When I manually declare the path, I get the above messages. I've set every single path I can think of to Skyrim's new location, but the FNIS builder tool isn't seeming to have it. As far as I can tell, there's no simple way to declare its path, so I'm stumped. I've also been working on this for the better part of six hours so that may be playing a part in my conundrum. In addition to that, I downloaded the latest version of LOOT, and that's working fine. It's just also, y'know, not detecting Skyrim. It's detecting my modded Fallout 4 game just fine, but I assume it's having a similar issue to FNIS in that it doesn't want to look outside of the C drive. In somewhat better news, Bodyslide is working, so yay! It's just not showing up anything from DD, just the generic CBBE bodies. I'm sure that's an issue in and of itself, but I'm focused on the other two for now ;u; As before, any and all help is appreciated!
