They're perfectly playable with keyboard and mouse. You're a better man than I then, young lady. ? I might give it a go then because the controller does my head in, not least due to my chair having arms which makes holding the controller in a natural position a bit awkward. I'm not as bad as this guy who has to keep looking at his controller. He also mentions Skyrim every now and again as if it is a current game or some sort of yardstick. Noob Plays Elden Ring
Reila Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Elden Ring isn’t that hard, imo. I always disliked the Dark Soul series because I wasn’t good at it, and I never completed a souls game before Elden Ring. But with Elden Ring you are rewarded for exploration and trying different things and coming up with alternative routes and solutions, instead of being railroaded to one impossibly tough boss after another. The world is beautiful, and the combat is very satisfying, and I understand now why there are so many attempts to mod this combat system into Skyrim. Of course, I have some gripes with quest design, game balance issues, and story, but the gameplay at its core is very very solid. I would give it an 8/10.
