4sterdes Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Im using MO2 for this, but when I install CBBE through it and select none for the underwear option. I start the game and my character still has the default grey underwear, not really sure what to do.
Just Don't Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Make sure CBBE is enabled in the left pane and that no other mod is overwriting it (unless it's a skin mod only providing textures). That should be enough for a basic setup where every NPCs and the player character use default filepaths for their bodies.

The only things that I have conflicting/winning with it is body slide and Bijin, but i tested it without those and neither are the problem and the issue still happens.

When I go into bodyslide.exe, I dont see anything I can open in the areas where you would select the body. Whether I go into the skyrim data folder or look around in CBBEs files. Im not sure if this will affect it but I am using it with a modpack (POTD)

Tried it with the base CBBE ones and it didnt apply.
Just Don't Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 You need to install and launch BS through MO. Same as with 99% of your mods and programs. Bijin provides unique body meshes and textures for the NPCs it covers, so these actors in particular won't be affected by what you install (BS, CBBE, other body types or textures) unless you manually change the default Bijin files or use a patch to make it use the default filepaths instead.

I figured out how BS works, What im not sure about is how to choose my body type or have the modified preset applied to my character. Or if I have something thats stopping CBBE from using their body types.

Your body should abutomatically use whatever you built into the default, usually named something like "3bbb amazing" Search for it the same way you'd search for an armor since to skyrim, a nude body is also an armor. Just avoid the options that say "nevernude" since those will put underwear onto your nude body.

Ive looked around there too and havent found anything, or do you mean somewhere else? Sorry if im acting like an idiot this is my first time modding skyrim.
4sterdes Posted April 29, 2022 Author Posted April 29, 2022 Another thing that im not sure matters is when i do go into bodyslide.exe it does say that there are conflicts with the other bodytypes, which im not sure how to resolve or if it even matters.

Ah, open up bodyslide and look at the top left where it says "outfit/Body" Somewhere on that long list is the name of your nude body. You can use the "outfit filter' option on the top right to narrow down your search. It will be named something like CBBE Body Physics CBBE 3BBB Body Amazing It really depends on what version of skyrim you're on ( legendary or special edition) and which body type you have installed ( unp based or cbbe based.)

CBBE Body physics is adjusted, but in the game it still isnt that body type for my character, even other ones are adjusted but they arent being used. Is there something I need to do in character creation to get it to that? It also isnt applied to NPCS. Is it something I need to do in the game?

Ah, your characters exact body shape is still dependant on its weight. Bodyslide sets you up from 0 to 100. Does the shape of your nude body change when using the weight slider in racemenu? To access racemenu, press the ~ key to open the console and then type showracemenu I would temporarily make a huge breasted body inside bodyslide just so that you can tell the difference between 0 and 100 weight. There's a chance that the bodies you're building aren't going into the right folders. SkyrimSE 2021-11-25 18-40-05-596.mp4
